Agree to that Jnr Ntr has great command but ya his height is hindrance.

I think for Sita's role also they are going to take someone from Bollywood only

Keerti Suresh is rumored to be playing the role of Sita. She will rehash her mahanati act again

Leave todays children even many from our parents generation have not much knowledge about it . And people believe anything TV shows shows

Wow so proud of you for showing the women about how ungrateful they were on own culture.Today only in twitter I saw a tweet about a idiot who was spewing shit about our Goddesses. My blood boiled when i saw it and mass reported it spreading hate .

Are Ravana and Kauravas descendants are still exsisting in today's generation ? I knew Sita's story would be fiction only. Its so unbelievable.

@Bold- Okay ya this makes sense and why Sita was not Biological daughter of Raja Janaka. It also explains why she goes back to mother earth . Sita having own DNA means she did not belonged to any lineage ?

Yes the true authentication would be the written by Rishi Valmiki only . But does the scripts of it still exist ? Like we have seen the documents and writing has been changed from years to years as we learnt in history .

Agree to the fact about we not being open minded like our ansestors I have observed it in Mahabharata also.Must say our epics coul give run to GOT( No offence to the show,I myself was fan of it😆)

@red- This is true.I have read about it.

Ikr?! Idk why people spread so much hatred about Sanatana Dharma. They don't know squat about it. Its damn frustrating.

Ravana's lineage should still be found in Sri Lanka and Rishi Pulastya's lineage is still around in India. About the Kauravas and the remaining of Lankasuras lineage is very controversial. All I am gonna say is they moved out of India. All movement of people and change in ideologies is from Sanatana Dharma only and I don't say this as a practicing Hindu but as a reader.

Our books have answers to questions beyond reality, time and civilization. Its good read for knowledge. You can link it to science too.

Sita Maa is basically Goddess Lakshmi who emerged from the Samudra Manthan. She chose Lord Vishnu as her eternal consort. And Sita Maa was the biological daughter of another Lakshmi avatar, Dharti Maa. So I cannot see a lineage as such since Lakshmi Maa wasn't born from anywhere.

Its said that Saraswati Maa was created by Brahmaji, Parvati/Gauri Maa was first the daughter of Prajapati Daksha and then Himavan (both sons of Brahmaji). Lakshmi Maa has no such story.

You can source Lakshmiji directly to Adi Shakti or Brahman. Basically all three Tridevis were manifestations of Adi Parashakti. She is the energy in and around the (multi)universe; holding us all together.

Remember the Physics textbook saying: Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change its form...guess who already existed way before these definitions

I don't think Valmikiji's original script exists. We're talking lakhs of years ago when oral recitations were the norm. But obviously some of his disciples wrote it down and that are authentic. Just know one thing, when there's a sentence in the book that makes no sense research the hell out of it. Either its been added by the new author or we knew lies our whole life 😆

Lol I know what you mean by GOT. U should read the beginning of the Chandravanshi dynasty, it'll freak it out for a while 🤣

Awful choice.

It should have been SRK honestly, or HR.

Raavan isn't a traditional villain. He was a wise soul who had studied all the Vedas and the Upanishads. He was charismatic and a man with principles. And he was a warrior with unprecedented pedigree. I really fear the Mughalization of Raavan.

Raavan's son Meghnath was the greatest warrior on Earth at the time. So, his casting is equally important. I wouldn't mind Ranveer Singh as Indrajeet/Meghnath.

Somehow, I feel they will botch this. Prabhas as Ram is a good call. I hope Sai Pallavi is cast as Sita.

I like to read too. But of late, have been really wary of reading stuff on the internet. It's really hard to know if the sources are authentic or if it is just a concocted story by someone.

Since you are a reader I'd suggest you buy books online. You can also read certain newspaper articles (like Speaking Tree) and in some cases wikipedia helps (like when I wanted to track down who was the father of devas and of asuras...turns out for both it was Rishi Kashyap). Wiki also gives an easy explanation before u can read in depth...so even if Wiki has wrong info you will know when you read the books. And after you've done substantial reading, you might make certain connections yourself. I think I know the kind of articles you are talking about...but what I've noticed is that those guys are basically stating missing links which could be overlooked.

Thank you. You are right about "substantial" reading. That is the key. I guess my confusion stems from the fact that I read tidbits from here and there, so can't make out the whole story.

Thats the same mistake I made in the beginning. But the more I began to read from a chosen start point it all made sense. Then I could link all the different stories and come up with my own timeline of what happened first etc. Its okay, just find one story to read first and then build it up 👍🏼
