IMPORTANT NOTE:

1. For the nth time, people, this thread is an UPDATES ONLY thread. For those who seem to disapprove of this because of the normalcy of freedom of expression on a public forum, the DT is well-aware that this is a forum and it's only logical that discussion and debates should be allowed, but in this specific case with two extreme sides, decent interactions are either barely or not happening without mocking, name-calling and personal attacks (refer to the first 10 discussion threads). Even today, while the mods haven't been here, the "No Debate" rule has been broken and we've all seen the kind of interactions that have stemmed from that. The why of this particular rule is hopefully clear to all of you.
2. Random tweets that support either Rhea Chakraborty or Sushant SIngh Rajput's family are NOT allowed. Only tweets from blue-ticked accounts and verified news portals, mostly those that will have actual news about the case, will be allowed. This case is already convoluted and there are a lot of fake news that are being spread. Repeatedly breaching this rule will result in warnings.
3. Your own comments taking digs at either sides while posting news articles and videos won't be allowed, and you will get penalized for the same.
4. While we appreciate you reporting posts that breach rules, it would be pretty cool if you didn't breach the exact same rules yourself.
5. It's necessary to repeat this: as we've already mentioned, limited discussion will be allowed - mostly queries and credible answers. Quoting to bash either sides isn't allowed - the concerned posts will be removed.
If the rules keep on getting breached, we will have to close even this updates only thread permanently. Please follow the rules and keep this thread clean, at least for the sake of the members who genuinely want to keep themselves updated with the evolution of this case.

I have genuine question all these years on this very forum i have seen Salmans cases being discussed in mutiple simultaneously existing threads to extreme levels breaching all possible rules of IF whether the hearing for his case was on or the verdict came or otherwise as and when someone felt like getting Salman bashed. Why the change now different rules for different celebs ? And given u are making this rule for this case i am assuming in future no BW celebs cases etc will be allowed to be discussed and only updates from verified handles will be allowed :) Cant be having rules per celeb per preference!

I personally have no idea how it has been during that time since I haven't been there tbh, but if there are any updates only threads for any such cases, the same rules will apply. This rule isn't about Sushant specifically, it's about all of this : URL Not Available

Also, if there are any bashing threads whether (they're discussion-based or updates-based) that have "extreme levels of breaching" like you said, the DT will definitely take necessary action.

So if tom a verdict comes on one of Salmans case will u allow discussion on it or will u keep to the benchmark set with this case and not allow discussion but just allow verified updates thats my question.

This move was made because people weren't listening to the notes and WLs when it comes to this case.

Coming to your question, we'll allow discussion as long as people will abide to the rules and have decent debates/discussion. We don't like curbing discussions either, and we'll gradually re-open up discussion on this case as well because, like I said above, this is a public forum whose purpose is to have discussion.

Thanks i do understand yr pt wrt this case but that overall approach sounds unfair to me its like saying i will allow slander for one celeb and their fans but not for the other at this moment atleast but thanks anyway :)
