A person with common sense and finances would not reject his degree for a field where it has no value. Not everybody is that lucky. SSR's entire career was based on luck- winning a dance contest, getting lead in a serial and going to movies. After few years his luck ran out and he finally saw the real life where failure existed. He could not just accept this reality not his fans.
1. Are you certain that he died by suicide?
2. If he indeed did die by suicide, do we know why exactly that happened? Everything you're saying about him not accepting failure in Bollywood could be irrelevant to his death - which, honestly, is highly likely - and I'm pretty sure that people who have followed Sushant would agree.
Plus I'm sorry but he seemed like anything but a failure to me - Sonchiriya got critical acclaim, Chhichhore was a superhit, he had Dil Bechara and he was in talks with Farhan Akhtar and Nikhil Advani both.
3. Not everybody has everything all planned out in life like Hrithik in the 1st half of ZNMD.
4. Not everyone is the same. What might seem logical/rational to you might not resonate with someone else.
5. We haven't been in his shoes and we don't know what he's been through so I don't think it's fair to judge?
