Not a fan of SRK movies but has to give it to the guy.
For me successful is not equal to only box office. This guy came from a crowd like us, had will to slog it out, dreamt things beyond reach at that point of time, worked towards making them reality, Made a name for himself not only in India but around the world. He is well educated, a successful entrepreneur, a happy family man (keeping aside his "alleged" affairs). This is success for me. He is an inspiration for many beyond Bollywood.
overall srk without a doubt
salman is very close tho
they were neck to neck in 90s things went way to down for salman in 2000s
later he made the best comeback ever in bollywood
hopefully hrithik follow the same suit after super30 n war 👍🏼

SRK & Salman were not neck to neck in 90s, SRK was far ahead of Salman
🤣 infact salman was ahead in 90s

We finally have the analysis of the most successful actors between 1990 – 1999. It’s a decade that marked the rise of the three Khans, while Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar were growing their fanbase and delivering quite a few hits in between.
Salman Khan leads in every category – highest net collections, success ratio, hit ratio and the best average per film. He also has the highest grosser and the most watched film of the 90s in Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.
Salman and Shah Rukh are the only two actors to average more than 10 crore plus per film.
Most number of films:
Total Net Collections for each actor between 1990 – 1999:
Average net box office collections per film between 1990 – 1999
Success Ratio i.e Above Average or better
Hit Ratio i.e Hit or Better
Note: We haven’t included two prolific actors – Sunny Deol and Govinda – in the list. Deol was a superstar, even though he wasn’t very consistent at the box office. He had quite a few hugely successful films like Border, Darr, Zindi and Ghatak, just to name a few. Govinda delivered several hits with David Dhawan and was one of the most popular and successful actors of the 90s. We are currently in the process of retrieving data from old film magazines. We are also working with a well-known trade analyst to rectify the 90s data, which isn’t as accurate as we’d want it to be at the moment.

Am surprised this is even a question. SRK. Salman is successful, but if you factor in getting his first movie offer on a platter, then SRK’s success curve is more acute.

I’m confused about something. You may proceed to give me your mathematical and analytical assistance here. This analysis shows a small difference between Salman & SRK. Salman is a few crores and percentages ahead of SRK between 1990-1999. But isn’t that also possible because Salman had 29 films and SRK had 28? I mean don’t you think that by one extra movie, it was possible that SRK would have closed or even crossed that very minute gap?
Clarify this with me 😊

He wasn’t even the main lead in his first movie
Salman Khan. He is a criminal and yet he is the one who if Godfather of so many other criminals in Bollywood. launching girls and making his female army of supporters.

Nope I guess. Coz srk's average earning per movie is 11.7 cr and Salman's is 12.9cr.. so unless his movie earned like crazy money, which was rare in that decade ,he wouldn't close that gap ...Salman always had the BO numbers on his side dunno why and how.😆
What’s the plot behind all this? These two brothers don’t get along https://www.instagram.com/p/DNaCjQlB_NN/?igsh=MWE1bjNidGhtbm9zYg==
Salman wanted to do the remake of that Italian film on which Sitaare Zameen par had been made, he share this with Aamir. Instead of leaving it...
