Actors with good script sense

Do you think having great instincts in choosing scripts and subjects is as much if not MORE important than the acting you do? You could be the best actor in the world but if youre choosing shitty scripts, can you ever make it big?

Who according to you are examples of this. Mine would be :

Aayushman- Definitely inventive choices even though acting is average

Ranveer- excellent nose for sniffing out good stories

Aamir- By far the best script sense and the ability to flesh out news ideas into a commercial film

DP (post 2013)- Except Chhapaak which was a bad script, I see her name being attached as a guarantee that it will be a good production overall

Bhumi- not extra special on screen but very good eye for meaty roles

Akshay- he's a pretty versatile actor but his diverse film choices really add to his skills

Worst script sense would be :

KKK- just awful

SRK- ditto, of late he's struggling to find his zone

RK- he is experimental but cant balance commercial with creative

HR- very inconsistent

I really feel others don’t really choose it.Its by chance most of the times but with Amir..he actually takes time and chooses the best..on top of that he gives his 200% to that chosen project.

Ayushman khurana... I love his movies

Hands down Aamir Khan ,except for few bad movies he has always been exceptional

Yes his script sense and choices are his USP- and right from his first film!

Besides the names you've mentioned, I'd add Alia Bhatt for good script sense.

I can't think of any good project he has done

But in a way he is doing favour achchi script me expressionless face and expressive muscles nhi jhelaate
