How is Aishwarya Rai rated so highly here? - Page 4

Aishwarya has a phenomenal screen presence. I admit that her movie choices haven't been stellar and she lacks in some areas of acting, but no one has a more regal presence than her in periodical and SLB movies.

When it's Ash on the screen, you can't take your eyes off her, love her or hate her. You can find her "cold" or "annoying" but when she was at her prime, her beauty was undeniable along with her screen presence.

Since I see Deepika being mentioned alongside her, let me also add that Deepika doesn't even have a fraction of eloquence that Ash has in interviews and talk shows. Yes, Deepika really delivers in SLB movies too and is gorgeous too, but she wasn't taken seriously till Cocktail and beyond.

She isn’t overrated in the real world..I have never come across anyone who speaks highly of her acting.Though she is def the most beautiful of them all and that surely gives her xtra points.

And I do agree that some members here go really overboard in praising her.M sure they find her good that’s why they do but personally I find her below avg to avg acting wise.Even when she excels in movies like JA n HDDC it has more to do with her beauty aura.She has been very good in some movies but they are very few.

She was good in HDDCS & Raincoat other than that she is OTT actress.

On the personal front her life is full of turmoil, Salman Bhai's beating, cheating then Vivek Oberio... then BIG B's muse .... finally landing upon small B to protect her from Underworld and Bhai ..... full of compromises....

only she knows what is paid for this life.... two timing with both father and son is tough life man .... living with such old scumbag is tough....

Lol, it's a vile, baseless rumour spread by gossipmongers with no credibility. Not a single credible publication has even made a blind item on this. The only probable basis is that Kajra Re song, which was smashing no doubt. But then she has good chemistry with all her male leads.

Anyway I guess people will believe what they want to believe.

Funny how the same people are so 😡 at the Sushant blinds but will believe anything easily to assume the worst about people. And then will cry some crocodile tears when something tragic happens with them. How sad.

Bold, exactly. I find Kareena the most overrated .

I don't know what happened with the forum making a complete 180 on Aish but I love it. I also think it helps that she's been the least problematic compared to her comtemporaries. Also, there's a huge segment of social media with Gen Z obsessed with 90s Aish like her face, her looks, her demeanor, etc. So I can get the hype.

Guess goes to show that there's still an obsession with her and she has a huge legacy b/c we're in 2020 and there's still ppl in a different generation that loves her acting and than there's some that don't but still care enough to comment. I'm ok with that.

Deepika and Aish are my favs so I will never slander either 😆 I acutally think after Madhuri and Aish, Deepika & Sonam are the only ones that have the old school charm and charisma. I could never see Ananya or Sara playing Paro, Chandramkuhi, Mastani, etc.
