In real life, everyone I encountered finds her a good actress (with one or two exceptions). Her films Jodhaa Akbar, Guru, HDDCS, Devdas, Raincoat, Taal, Guzaarish etc. are universally loved and still talked about. Not to mention her South Indian and Bengali films where she has done her best work.

She's easily a better actress than Kareena and Deepika. She's miles better. With Madhuri it's debatable. However, I find Madhuri more of a dancer but as an actress she's about average. Ash has certainly delivered better performances over the years.

Ash is still no Tabu or Vidya for sure. But she's consistently shown a knack for delivering excellent performances under a good director.

I don't think you can make baseless allegations against me.

1. I have never made a topic on Aishwarya Rai before this.

2. I am not trying to get her "bashed".

Just because she's your favourite, you can't write anything you want.

Aishwarya was rated poorly as an actress on this forum not so long ago ..

Not sure what changed all of a sudden ..

Aishwarya's biggest weak point as an actress is comedy .. She cant be funny even if her life depended on it .. All great actors are good at comedy .. Aish is too plastic ( personality wise ) .. She cant goof around or be real .. She is too classy and elegant .. And that restricts her as an actor ..

But she shines in serious roles under good direction .. Not to mention she is impossibly beautiful .. So certain roles are more suited for her than any other great actor ..

Well personally no one I have met has ever rated Ash poorly as an actress, and deservedly so. It's only in this forum that I saw people saying that, same with Deepika as well.

She is inconsistent, but when she is good she is among the best. Guzaarish for me warrants as among the best female performances I have ever seen in any language. I remember the monologue she had in court scene, wow it blew my mind. She has this unmistakable star quality and undeniable, unshakable screen presence, which is absolutely null these days.

Kareena is a terrible actress, and only will be appreciated in the low standards of hindi cinema. Aish is a hundred miles and back better than her for sure. Infact I don't think it is even a comparison. With Deepika, I think Ash and Deepika are fit for very different kinds of roles, and do very well in them. Would rate Ash slightly higher.

When it comes to HDDCS, I think it is perfectly in sync with the tone and pitch of the movie. She would be out of place and ineffective if it wasn't. Same with Devdas (which I consider a great and better performance). Like take this scene, so much power and anguish in her eyes

Aishwarya ek behatreen insaan kyun hain uska proof. She married Abhishek who was lesser star than her. Between Ranno and Deepu Obviously ranveer is bigger star than her. Married actresses long really last long in bollywood you need to be exceptional like Bebo to survive. Par Deepika ne Ranno se plan karke future secure karke shadi ki hain, aish was in true love with Abhishek. Acting dancing star aura aur ab niceness me aish Deepika se 134guna behtar hain.

Aishwarya Rai is a directors actor, period. With the right direction, she has always done well and excelled in periodic movies. That being said, Aishwarya Rai is not a perfect actress and has her fair share of bad and good performances. Deepika as Mastani and Padmavat was the most vomit-inducing crap I've ever had the misfortune to endure. I would take Aishwarya Rai's Paro and Jodha any day over Deepika's emotional filled flaring nostrils, arched eyebrows of grand superiority, permanent case of watery conjunctivitis eyes, lip quivering with desire and her painfully seductive voice sprouting out poetic nonsense. The only reason I survived Mastani and Padmavat is because of the gloriously massive nose ring that covered half her face and kept me distracted from bashing my head against a wall. NOSE RING ZINDABAD!

Anyhow, I'd rather watch a bad performance of Deepika and Aish than watch Kareena Kapoor. She is the one that's hailed as a good actress in this forum despite the shitfest called Mein Prem Ki Dewaani Hoon, Khushi, KKKG, Yaadein, Ashoka, Mujhse Dosti Karogi, Ajnabee, Kambakh Ishk, Jeena Sirf Mere Liye blahblahblah

I feel that Aishwarya Rai fails at acting. In looks department, there's absolutely nothing to say as she's drop dead gorgeous!.

Regarding her acting skills, she lacks emotions and tends to overact.

In which angle Deepika is a better actress than Aish? Can't agree with you. Aish might not be the best among the lot but she is thousand times better than Deepika in terms of both look and acting. And I can see nothing wrong in Aish's acting or dialogue delivery in the video which you have shared here. She did a decent job in HDDCS.

madhuri is better than ash in acting, looks both are fine

ash is same as kareena but looks dept better is ash

deepika is worst than ash both in looks and acting

Ash is not overrated

Agree she is not the best when it comes to acting , but I would choose her any day over deepika .
