Ufff have fallen in love with the songs of the film, just imagine watching and listening to Taare Gin and Main Tumhara on the big screen in dolby digital sound!

Why can't we honor his words?

People can not like the film and it is fine! It's natural , but just like how you don't go singing death songs to a family who has lost someone , you can't put forward your honest opinion on someone's last work as it mmay hurt a lot of sentiments.

If you want have a review , watch it and have your own.

There are many.. many people who are still grieving. Still not over his loss and still are hurting. And how is it fair to ask them about an unbiased opinion of this movie where we all know the smiling face sets down?

My dearest Sush.

You broke my heart in so many pieces as Manny and still each piece was only hurting more for your pain. Not as Manny , but as yourself.

You said Manny had so many big dreams but he didn't wish to fullfill them anymore. I know you had bigger dreams than Manny and I know you didn't wish to fullfill them anymore. 💔

Manny taught love and art of living to kizie, and you Sushant, taught the World how to be a better person.

I no longer admire Augustus Sushant.

He was a fictional character.

Manny wasn't. He was you. Seri?

I know *tu mera sitara ban gaya* but I so wish it wasn't true. I would rather have you here than up above the world so high.

You lied Sushant.

Raja mara nahi.

Raja marte nahi.

You , my boy, are going to live.

For galaxies to come.

@Bold I felt that too. It felt so like Sushant that I just looked at my mom sadly when he said that. In his own words, 'unending dreams carving an arc of smile'. We all saw how life negotiated.

Film on its merit is a decent one time watch which wouldn't have disappointed you if it would have released in normal times when covid wasn't here and Sushant was amongst us

Sushant performance is good

Though he was better in Kai Po Che and shudh desi romance

Maybe mood of these films made me felt that

In Dil bechara at many places

Sushant looked uninterested or tired even in happy scenes

Maybe he was playing Manny convincingly

Who was dying with cancer but maybe running away from hard truth of his life by pretending to be happy and making others happy

Watching Manny watch his funeral and friend reading his eulogy in front of him made me uncomfortable considering what happened

Sad and creepy how film shot and finished long back has a similarity with real life story of its lead actor

Saif Ali Khan 5 minute scene again is creepy as it again astonishingly compares to real life story btw Sushant was best in this scene

Again bit sad he died in first and last film

Sushant Singh Rajput deserved a happy film to be his final film where people could have celebrated him and remembered him happily

Anyway you can't change reality

And you can always remember him as free spirited raghu or as alter ego of ms Dhoni or as Ishan who believed in his belief

Om Shanti brother

I started watching it about an hour ago and seeing his intro and his smiles broke my heart all over again. I loved SSR so much and all my mind keeps thinking is "this is it. His last movie." I had to stop. My heart couldn't take it. 💔 I'm going to try again in a bit.

Right now my mind is playing Main Tumhara on a loop and my heart is breaking. 💔 Someone make this stop.

I'll read everyone's reviews. Good or bad. At the end of the day it is a film. But please don't be rude or mean. Please.

The last 20 mins of the film are a clincher. So emotional . So impactful. It was very very difficult to watch .

Good points :

Some scenes were so so good. Kizie aur Manny's first two meets, their first date at the lake , Manny's entry 😆, Manny and Kizie 's father's beer scene ( best enacted scene in the film), the Seri conversation ☺️.

BG music , cinematography ( Jamshedpur is so clean and beautiful ) .

Bad points : Weird editing . I wanted more of romantic scenes between Kizie aur Manny. The film was quite short. They could have easily added more. Idk. I also wanted a scene of Manny with his granny.

Acting : Sushant,Saswata ,Sahil were brilliant. Swastika okish. Sanjana good but could have been better in emotional scenes.

Good watch but i felt it had the potential to be a very good one.

Only makes you ask why Sushant why? I know the answer is difficult to find but wasn't there any solution except death? One can only wonder until they actually are in the person's shoes I guess. Hope wherever he is he finds his peace and is free of all the pain. Really a very emotional swan song of Sushant!

Barring that honestly it was evident why the film was stuck for so long and why they were going for a digital release. The screenplay is extremely weak and one tone, the full film is very dull. Don't know why did they make that whole cafe scene with Saif so overdramatic. Not a fan of the original either but was still moved while watching the original but in this case was only moved due to Sushant and not the actual film. Sanjana was pretty meh too, wish they had casted a better actress. Also the whole Dil Bechara song was so random!

And this film also showed why AR Rahman is and will be legendary maestro. His songs and tunes single handedly lifts up most of the sub par scenes in the film. I also really liked the guy playing Manny's friend. I think he was also in the Dulhania series as Varun's friend. Anyways after all of this I only wonder no matter how bad this film was for me, what made the producers think of releasing this on digital while releasing an absolute trashy film like Kalank in theatres? I guess the answer is the what is wrong with this industry!

The whole cafe scene was overacted by Saif and Sanjana was just bland. She should have been hurt and shocked but it just fell flat.

And after watching Tanhaji and this I am doubting Saif’s acting abilities.

I also thought it was rushed but Chhabra just surprised me .

He made a beautiful movie. Wish SSR was here to see it (regardless of how we would have reacted atleast he would have been alive and with his family) .

Beautifully made film sushant was charming. Manny is so full of life and entertaining.

Sushant looked like a bhojpuri actor shooting for jp’s film

It’s cute how seri was their favourite word this used to be one of the only words I remembered when watching Tamil films too

Sanjana is promising and performs well for a debutant

Saif’s character is as eccentric 🤪

Sushant’s Can we just pretend I am not going to die scene 💔miss you loads scene was also sad. Payal cinema onwards was sad I could not watch properly. Chipku hospital scene was touching esp manny’s dialogue. The funeral scene with manny, jp and kizie💔😢

It will remain special as it is ssr last film and i really enjoyed it. Just like the sound of Manny’s name always made kizie smile & heart leap similarly everytime I hear Sushant’s name I will remember him fondly & cherish him.

This is not the end your movies will keep you alive I will watch some of the films or tv show episodes I missed out on before

This song is so heartbreaking but for some reason I cannot for the life of me stop listening to it and cry hard, especially at the chorus and the flute portion

This smile will live on forever 💔

Is it just me, or was there an issue with dubbing? i just coudnt hear some of the dialogues,,esply sushants's . The proposal scene at paris, i couldnt understand what sushant said at all. the screenplay was terrible, just random scenes fit together i felt. One scene they are out, suddenly sushant is at her place with her parents. No wonder it was stuck for so long.

The one scene between father and sushant is brilliant. silly one.👍🏼

But Sushant's presence and his infectious smile makes up for me. His personality was so endearing in the film. 😊just couldn't control my tears in the last 20 mins. Sanjana was decent too, needs to brush up her skills if she wants to continue. A good tribute and a terrible void for all of his fans and audiences. He shall be badly missed. Hope he has found his peace finally!

I kinda paused it at after the Saif wala scene...I think I will watch the rest some other time...Somehow don’t want this to be over so soon, I guess...:(...Everything the movie lacked so far, Sushant’s presence has more than made up for it....

Is it just me or did they import Saif directly from the Tanahji’s sets? 🤔Also I haven’t ever seen him acting this bad...I just didn’t understand what his character was about and Sanjana’s expressions(or lack there of), further confused me..Only Sushant acted well in that scene.....May be I need to watch the scene again!

Anyways, for those of you who haven’t watched Sushant’s debut work on TV, Kis desh mein hai mera dil- try watching the show guys to catch the happy go lucky, apple of his big brother’s eyes, sunshine of the family Mr.Preet Juneja....❤️....The first 6 months of the show was absolutely worth a watch...Its on the Hotstar...Coincidentally, I took the membership of the app just the previous night of SSR’s demise...Its so eerie the way I paused an episode right on SSR’s face before going to bed and then woke up to the most unfortunate celebrity news of my life so far! :(
