Anushka Sharma - An Outsider

I wanted to know what you guys thought about Anushka's career. I am wondering why SHE isnt considered a good template or example of an outsider? She has fought her battles but quietly but with so much dignity. She has basically come from nowhere, not even a remote connection to the industry, she has done so well in her career, remained an A-lister, stayed on professional and polite (not necessarily "back-slapping" ) terms with everyone across different genres of filmmaking. What others call 'chaatu karita' I think is strategic and intelligent choices and which is something any professional has to do while starting out. I mean she did make her inroads via YRF but once she reached the top, she made her own niche, started her own production house with films made by and acted by legit talented outsiders Like Anshai, Anvita and Tripti, Neil and Avinash (as actors). This is a very good way to make change!

She may not have done stellar work since Harry met Sejal but she is without a doubt super successful and..ahem..."within the top 3 actresses" working today. And she has gone beyond the "flower pot" stuff with her production house

Why do we only have one person projecting herself as THE trailblazer? Didnt women like Sridevi, Vidya, PC and Anushka already do as much if not more. Because they dont do ladaai jhagda?

But Anushka has hardly ever voiced against Nepotism or what happens with the outsiders.I mean she had to go through that lip surgery thanks to Adi Chop.But then I understand she doesnot want to ruin her relationships...after all even Kangana started speaking when she got sidelined by the bollywood people.Jab sab sahi chal raha ho tab koi nai bolta.

I do agree she has been very dignified throughout her career.Its so wrong that many a times we all taunt her for the TOiFA blind(yes it was also like a blind..without any proof).But she has maintained a good and cordial relationship with everyone and unlike many u won’t see her buttering the top directors too.Wont call her the best actress but she is pretty decent acting wise.And overall she is very good.And now she is doing so well with the whole production thing too.I think she is leading the most peaceful and happy life right now.With a loving partner ( atleast m assuming so)and a stable career she is doing the best amongst her contemporaries.

See Kangana? this is how you ACTUALLY help outsiders and that is if you genuinely care for them instead of being a guttermouth 24/7!

Also unlike you, Anushka actually walks the talk whereas you are too busy pushing your own agendas(out of sheer vindictiveness) like a typical evil, conniving politician.

Anuskha knows and understands that you get respect in return of respect. She is running a business where she needs good will and support from industry. This is called being smart.

And I credit her army background for that. No wonder she is so sensible and well-liked! She is respected by all and sundry in the industry 👍🏼

And because of her wonderful upbringing, an iconic athlete like Virat Kohli fell in love with her!

But hey, do you think that Kangana with her wonderful qualities can bag an eligible bachelor like Virat? 😏

I cannot predict future. Who knows what Kangana's future hold ?

Her Filmography is bad.

Out of around 20 films, only Rab ne bana di jodi, Band baja baraat, NH10, PK ( up to some extent) stand out.

She had potential but she hasn't been able to reach her potential and now she's become a producer.

She's a better producer than an actress..but it's too soon to call her a good producer also. Only time will tell.

Let's not give credit to people only based on their status of being an outsider or someone who minds their own business. That is not a grade point. She was lucky to debut with SRK but still she ended up with a mediocre line of films.

If she were not married to Virat, she wouldn't be in news at all.

Credit is not just for her as a producer of good content (incidentally I think all her productions have been fabulous) but also the great opportunities she has created for outside talent. None of her productions were vanity productions with zero ego issues with even the "chota mota actors" in her films- wish I could say that about everyone!

Ekta Kapoor is an established film producer. She has taken risks and made films that are drastically different from what is expected of her. Shor in the city, Lootera, Udta Punjab, Dirty Picture, Laila Majnu and many more.

You want me to give credit to Anushka Sharma for being an outstanding producer? Her production house has made only 5 films/series as of now. I've already said time will tell if she's a good producer or not. Let's not jump the gun. Anushka is a risk taker and that's all I can say.

And about chota mota actors, Anushka has just started producing, so you cannot expect big stars in her films. She maybe consciously choosing good actors solely based on their acting chops but she could also be taking them to save money that she will have to splurge on big actors.
