Anushka didn't struggle like other outsiders to empathize with their struggle. Her first film was with Shahrukh Khan, that too at the age of 19. She was a model before that. She came from a well-off family too. She didn't ever struggle like a Richa, Swara or a Taapsee had to.

She got accepted and co-opted by the industry right after her first film, so she never cared for the plight of other outsiders and ever spoke up against nepotism.

Why would she fight a system which hasn't really been unjust to her?

I still remember she had her struggles in the initial days, especially when she had three film contract with YRF. She got a good name with Rnbdj and everyone wanted to sign her, but she couldn't due to the contract. Then she did Badmaash company which didnt do well. And I remember she signed Patiala house much before and got into trouble with YRF for not following the contract. I am not sure how she got away with it, just assumed by doing extra film with them; BBB (3rd) and ladies vs Ricky bahl(4th) .

By the time her 5 films came, she did made few friends and hence flourished to further films. That's what I see about her. But she never did rise to the top for memorable roles (although I love her in bubbly roles)
