You can be offered these things to an extent but mostly it is the actor's management that goes out and fetches these opportunities to gain visibility.

I think largely he didn't know how to (or didn't want to) market himself and maybe also didn't have a good team around him. This difference can be seen in the success of Chhichhore. As far as I know, he didn't do a single success interview for that film but I have seen multiple media activities for both Nitesh Tiwari and Shraddha post the film. I think it was probably the same for Dhoni as well. He was delivering these major successes but people were just not aware.

The thing is he saw such success before Kartik and Ayush. He was pretty much a big deal during 2014-2016 and was in same league as RS.He was booking big brand endorsements, fashion shows, big budget films like Chanda mama but he was also getting a lot of negative press with people calling him arrogant, pervert, his projects getting shelved and delayed and what not. I guess after all this he just decided to lay low, He changed his manager multiple times but it didn't work. I thought Chhichhore would help him bounce back but no one acknowledged it's success.

That's what I'm saying. When he debuted and those initial years with YRF, he was definitely seen as a promising star because he had that visibility. Dhoni or Chhichhore were his equivalent of Bajirao but he chose to lay low after those successes so he never really solidified his standing. Acknowledgment is more about perception. If he had done multiple interviews and was seen everywhere, people would naturally associate him more with his success but instead there was negative press and he was barely seen so the negativity overshadowed the positivity.

I don't need to bring theories in here but the fact that some people in the industry is requesting cbi inquiry for sushant's case means something. I know fans and family have suspected but even industry people is suspecting now

I think of these reasons:

- public ka kaan bharnaa by planting regular blinds targeting his personal and professional life. A lie repeated multiple times can start seeming true. When his MeToo blind came in I was disappointed. Mainly because of the silence of the actress in question.

- systematic denial of prestige projects. A barometer we sometimes see is when high profile directors start offering you work in their labor of loves. There are usually only a few such projects each year. In this case, we are now nowing big gun directors were interested in casting him, but couldn't due to external pressure. And I always wondered isko bade picture kyon nahin mil rahe?

- buzz. This happens when we start seeing non-bikau journalists gushing over the next big thing. After the initial enthusiasm, suddenly there was radio silence on this front.

- elitism. No invite to KWK, not constant mention in interview rounds. The facial expressions on KWK, Alia & SoDumb say it all.

- non-chaatukarita: I think SSR didn't succumb to ass licking

Not a single superstar from Bollywood demanding CBI. It is very strange.

Now Kangana and Hansel both are acting like some warriors against Nepotism and slandering.

Capitalizing on someone’s unfortunate and untimely demise.

I agree... Kangana tortured Aprova and so many others..isn't it as bad as nepotism , favorism ?

Why act like saint now?
