@BOLD Do mention the fact that a one movie old Bhagyashree is from the royal Patwardhan family and is the Princess of Sangli, Maharashtra. She obviously had a lot more clout and influence than other outsiders in the industry.
not to mention the time period of that demand, when outsiders were given a fair enough chance in bollywood and whoever did well was promoted...
thats why we have a Mithun Chakraborthy who used to sell potatoes before coming in bollywood and A JAckie Shroff who used to live in the slums of the mumbai.......can a mumbai slum dweller today think of getting a lead role in bollywood movie ? will the nepo gang allow him to survive without looking down upon him ??

just searched on net and got to know that Mithun was part of naxalite group in bengal.........dont know how true it is
