I don't understand why people have so much problem with this outrage. Just like people are mentioning that life is unfair and those outsiders should develop thick skin, isn't the same applicable to the people who are called out. They should also develop the same thick skin for being called out. And talking about bashing and abuses, as if it's something new on social media. I have been active on twitter, those kinds of trolls are always there, I have seen regular fanwars where people go worse with their words, bigg Boss fans don't leave anything, some people need to visit BB forum, all kinds of bashing has been done there , same on Social Media. India world cup matches, people didn't leave Dhoni and mocked his age just because India lost the match. KJo has blocked so many accounts on twitter. It's all before this tragedy. I admit because of these trolls ,the real issue is getting diluted, but if People like Vidyut, Randeep Hooda, Kunal ,Vikrant Manoj are getting the backing of public, and their voices are heard now, what's the problem then.

Those who want to outrage they are doing it, trolls who are abusing and giving threats, they do this on regular basis too ( solution for them is cyber complaint) , those who don't want to do it, don't do it. No one is obliged to follow what the whole country is doing, there is no point in doing this debate at all. But yeah there have been genuine people who have changed a lot after his death. And many are genuinely raising their points. Those who have issue, they are putting their points in a decent way, that's it.

Exactly my thoughts! Vile people have always been there. Suddenly there is this attempt to undermine genuine outrage be using that as a crutch.

On point, I think there is a huge difference between a business and Bollywood. We buy products or services from a business. We won't just buy movie tickets from Bollywood, we take these lead actors and put them in our hearts. The memories and joy from good movies stay with us a lifetime!

Agreed. Though I understand Jimmy Sheirgill's take on this matter, this is not the same as other industries. Yes the son gets a chance but not multiple chances with everyone banding together to make him succeed over others.

In corporate world son will get a chance not once but for many years because corporate world is not a one man job.For example if you may be a pathetic manager but if you have s good team your project can still be successful. But in a movie if you are a pathetic actor no one can hide that weakness it will be there for all audience to see. An untalented person can survive in corporate world for long by being in a team of talented people since it’s a team job . I mean people won’t even come to know that he is untalented. But if you are an untalented actor it will be clear from the 1st movie. In fact it’s worse in corporates world, for example if i make someone hire my sister in a company and my sister is untalented it’s company’s money and resources that I am wasting not my own. So I can go on doing it. But in Bollywood if KJO or some one plans to take star kids then it’s their own money that they are investing not any one else’s. If movie flops they bear the loss not any one less. In corporate world it’s some one else’s loss in movie world it’s their own loss.

Personally I don’t have an issue with the outrage. People are hurt and they are lashing out, it’s their choice. It’s these people who make actors god when they do well so they have a right to harshly criticise as well. I mean ya there is difference between calling some one an accomplice in suicide and criticising their work but well it is what it is. But then it should be treated as that, an outrage not a solution to a problem since most of us don’t even know what the real problem is. Like you said develop a thick skin and take in this hatred if nothing then as Karma. The star kids got their first break easily so this is the price they pay like I said nothing in life comes without a cost and this is the cost they pay. They should take it as that. If I was the star kid getting targeted I would use it as a motivation and not get demotivated by it. Like you gave an example of cricket, when sledging happens many cricketers take that as motivation and let their bat do the talking. This is what these star kids should do take in this hatred and let your work do the talking. Currently I prefer Alia and Kjo over Sonam or Sonakshi because they are taking in all the hate not retaliating verbally all they should do is concentrate on their work and do good work this hate will go away. Unlike Sonam or Sonakshi who are unnecessarily being defensive.

Exactly and if it happens everywhere then how about lets CHANGE the damn narrative. Nepotism shouldn’t be acceptable and needs to abolished. You come and go based on performance not based on ur surname!

Not just corporate world. I work in a shelter and meet people from not for profits all the time. Often times these NFPs are handed down to the sons or daughters. But they can't just keep getting by without good ethics, morals, etc.

The entertainment business is the only place where such nepotism works. I remember watching an episode of CSI NY a couple of days ago. In it Don Flack gets his sister a job in the NYC press team and says "sometimes nepotism is good". He's right. If you have the privilege, use it. But BW is like use it and keep using it even if you stink.
