Never said you had to “know” anything, I was just questioning how you differentiate between what article is true and what is false. It seems like Sushant died, Kangana made a speech and a flood of articles came out all at once about all these films he lost, all the ways he was mistreated, etc. And the same people who criticized his treatment in the media when he was alive is accepting these articles as the gospel truth. What I don’t understand is how?

As far as the police wanting to look into the YRF contract, it could have been the only contract Sushant was involved in at the time and therefore needed investigating. It could have been done as a result of public attention, or a variety of other reasons. Regardless, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and many others signed similar contracts. It wasn’t some unusual thing that was done to take advantage of a naive outsider. YRF makes up these contracts so they have new talent on hand for their projects. If an adult, with the ability to hire a lawyer, get advice, whatever, signs a contract, then how is YRF to be blamed for the nature of the contract? And if, after breaching said contract, that company doesn’t want to work with you anymore, why are they to be blamed for that either? It’s perfectly legal and normal for any person or company to want employees who will respect commitments.

As far as Alia not having contractual issues when coming into or backing out of a film, she probably was taught how to be careful what she signs, and hires a good legal team. Is it a privilege that she had that knowledge as a newcomer, sure, but every parent will teach their children what they know so the kids will benefit.

Nobody is treating articles like "gospel truth." It's something most of the people have observed over time just how a particular below average actress has been shoved down our throats whether we like it or not. Articles are churned out everyday, nobody has time to read them except the headlines here and there and educated people have the wisdom to take that with a grain of salt.

SO, when Sushant, a talented actor who had clearly been suppressed by THAT actress' entourage (YSF, KJo, Mafia, whathaveyou), allegedly committed suicide because he simply couldn't emerge out, of course she will be on the hot seat along with the rest of them. In retrospect, it makes sense why he hasn't been able to do big banner movies like the lot of untalented pedigree kids. It's not as convoluted as people think.

We can keep going back and forth on what "woulda, shoulda, or coulda" happened contractually between YRF and Sushant. Sure, YRF "coulda" dropped the contract after Sushant breached it. Sure, Alia "woulda" navigated the loopholes of contracts and stayed above the legal consequences. But I'm not buying that story.

Because it's equally plausible and to me, more believable, that YRF gave Alia etc. the autonomy to do what she wanted, but held Sushant on a tight leash so he doesn't outshine the below average pedigree kids.

Definitely he did and he was indeed getting professional help if "rumors" have it right. But there should be an equal emphasis on the toxic abyss bollywood is starting to resemble for talented individuals who are on their own.

By whom and where? Opinions stated by india-forums doesn't count as "toxic" journalism that assassinates their character if that's what you're talking about. I have yet to see a full-fledged smear campaign on the pedigree kids like there was on Sushant.

I have a rough idea. He called Salman out on his bullying and harassing Aishwarya, and it backfired on him. And your point is?
