You go thru the industry and most are beneficiaries one way or another

Yes, Bollywood should start looking for talented actors not only them but also give importance to screen play, writers, also get good directors which are able to handle different genre. Also have more productions houses and do collaborations to increase budget.

These production houses should hire not only those who are insiders but also outsiders. Give chance to talented outsiders to hone their craft.

Making those insiders work hard by not giving the roles in platter. As this is the reason why they are so complacent, if given easily why need to work hard.

To me the only star kid or insider who has the most easiest has to be Alia and also Ranbir.

Sonam can not be put in that category, as she makes movies from house production.

Yes! Don’t we all remember this? I sure as hell do. Which is why I’m disgusted that Ranveer ended up being an active part of the clique that looked down on him. Hence, I call him a beneficiary. Look at Ayushman, he networks with them but he’s not part of their clique. They were awful to him too. I have so much respect for Ayushman. And I say this as someone who was a hardcore Ranveer fan once upon a time

Why do you think he became a part of their clique? Aren’t you just presuming things on your part? For one, he didn’t even invite them to his “private wedding”...No, I am just curious to know...Af for me, I like his and Ranbir’s acting and I will stick to them as long as they deliver in terms of good movies...Other than that, woh jaane ya unke khuda!

We all presume because none of us know them personally. My opinion is based on the fact that all of a sudden he was literally in all of the party pics with the nepotism gang. On top of that, funnily enough, this coincided with his worsening behavior towards costars and reporters. Probably because he thought he was protected. He wasn’t like that before. Anyway, just because I don’t like the guy anymore doesn’t mean I won’t watch his movies if they get good reviews. I never liked Ranbir but still watch his movies because he’s a good actor.

Maybe Ranveer doesn’t have a choice ? How else is he to survive ?

Same thing happened with Rani, she had to stay in the good books of the Khans and break her friendship with Ash if she wanted to be a a successful number 1 actress, If she didn’t she’d end up like the likes of Mahima, Sonali etc

The only unbecoming part is him associating with the same folks who tried to squash him...Now that you point out at it, I also wish he stops doing that....Other than that, I haven’t seen anything that suggests he has changed for the worse...

his father is a 3 time national award winner, so he is not some small actor, plus pankaj has even directed shahid in the movie mausam

and shahids whole immediate family is full of actors, his mother neelima azeem is an actress, his brother is an actor, his step sister also got a break in shandaar and done two more movies, his step mother supriya pathak is an actress and supriyas sister is the actress ratna pathak shah, shahids stepfather and ishaans dad rajesh khattar is an actor. They may not be superstars but they are still prominent figures in the industry

anyway like i said before, all that matters is talent and if the audience wants to see that actor onscreen, it doesn't matter if they are insiders/outsiders or have connections, its all upto the audience on whose movies they want to buy a ticket for

Kangana herself otherwise how a vitriolic potty mouth sister of her became such a prominent/notorious figure in Bollywood?

Anupama Chopra. Can't get over her "... .Ishaan goes from besotted lover to confused and afraid runaway without missing a beat. His performance combines innocence and maturity. Janhvi's range is less but she is endearing and assured. The nepotism debate be dammed these two are fine additions to Hindi cinema ..."
