People are calling out a system where people are sabotaged time to time. The people who are part of it are being called out.

Criticism is necessary for some people because they abuse their power.

Am i against nepotism? No. Because in real world too people help their family and friends. For example i won't bash srk if he launches his daughter.

Peope are against the monopoly where people who earned the roles are thrown out after whole process. That's why likes of kjo and breed are being called out. For absolute abuse of power and clout.

People are against the gossip gang who spread rumors.

People are against the elitist attitude where outsiders are seen as worms.

Systematic bashing of people by their servant journalists.

Systematic continuous mocking.

To correct a system, backlash needs to be happened.

The people who went on mocking others, they don't deserve sympathy for getting mere criticism.

People watch more indian tv shows than movies. Tv shows run for ages, they are hard to forget, even if you want to. TV shows from that era actually get etched in your brain. I hated Dia aur Baati hum that my grandma used to watch. But I haven’t been able to push it out of my head. It became a part of my life when I was growing up.

Movies are like a few hours deal that you will forget and move on.

Same! I watched Pavitra Rishta religiously when I was a kid so I obviously remember Sushant from that first. Not just on shows but they come in award functions of tv too and on news channels also for sneak peeks for the show with their interviews. Pavitra Rishta, Uttaran, these kind of shows were very popular around the 2010-mark.

This is not really true. I know many millennial people don’t watch Indian TV much but general public watch tv a lot and tv actors are very popular.
They are more popular than newbie star kids (if you just count number of people who know them). Even reality show judges are household names and are very popular for example, Shilpa shetty is much more popular than new star kids. They have their own audience. Indian tv viewership has increased ten folds over last few years.

Indian TV has reached in every village of the country and only urban population is interested in Western TV shows, fashion magazines and star kids tantrums. Middle class Indian public still watch tv everyday and are hooked to prime time daily soaps.

Also, there is more money today in TV industry. Why do you think, shilpa shwtty, Madhuri and KJO himself work on TV?

Kjo used to put his name in the lists on purpose in kwk so that his nepotistic kids could put him down. Is it that difficult to understand ? And i can't believe anyone who says they didn't know who SSR was because they didn't watch many movies, blatant lie.

Of course they knew who he was (especially if you're an A-List Actor/Actress. ) How can they not know who is was when he had delivered some hits? You must be a fool if you believe they didn't know him. They were being arrogant & superior to others, just because they get everything handed to them. They purposely did it, pretending they didn't know who he was, so they can mock him. Mocking others seems like entertainment for them.

The very fact that SSR was always mocked by nepo kids is proof enough that all of them knew him very well

He went on climbing the ladder of success so mocking was the only way to bring him down.

Like who the hell remembers Jahnvi kapoor with her less than mediocre acting? I can’t even remember what she looks like. Only the plastic.

So many newbie failed Bollywood actors come and go. We forget them. But we can never forget Tulsi, Parvati, Mihir etc. You cannot forget them. They run for years.

There’s a sense of nostalgia that you will remember these forever. As for movies, you seldom remember them. There are many times I end up rewatching some movies on TV because I couldn’t remember watching them. My grandma does it all the time lol.

Only a fool would think that Tv actors aren’t popular. Why are they promoting their stupid movies on TV then?

Hina Khan recently pointed out the discriminatory behaviour of the film fraternity towards TV actors, they treat you like trash.
