Also, the film delivered such a powerful message with the ending about the importance of education (that too in a region like Kashmir) so simply and beautifully without being over the top.

Hats off, really. This film was perfection.

It was a beautiful movie with good acting by both main leads. Pranutan was definitely better than Zaheer. And the music was a perfect complement to the storyline.

@bold: Agree. Pranutan is a natural. He was decent as well but there was something about his face that distracted me at points (I don't know if it was his eyes or something else)

But the film was beautiful indeed. ❤️

Yes definitely. I think it was his eyes. They are so deep that you don't notice anything else and he wasn't meeting with his eyes so much.

I would really love to see Pranutan make it big in Bollywood but unfortunately she doesn't have that backing.

I don't have a problem with kids who get in thanks to nepotism. Its a privilege their parents happily give them & have worked hard for. My issue is when these kids who are given such a huge launch pad, lack talent and continue to snatch away opportunities from others who are actually talented.

If you watch the movie, which I doubt you have, you'll easily be able to tell that Pranutan is talented, and a natural, and based on her talent alone, she will and should get more roles.

Also, despite being Mohnish Bahl's daughter, this film was royally ignored by all.

Can we please stop spreading hate based on the word 'nepotism' alone without understanding the context? Thanks.

RIGHT. So I am not the only one. But he clearly has the potential. For a first movie, I think he was good (though he could have been even better at points, esp the bit when he fails to stop the boy from blasting due to the dynamite)

Agreed on Pranutan. She is pretty and can act. Her character never had a high point in the film but yet she was very endearing throughout and never came across as one note. I never felt like she was acting.

Also, not that moles are ugly or anything, but I appreciate the fact that she let them be and didn't remove them from her face. I am rooting for her as well. She doesn't have the backing, but if more people see the film and speak out about it, I'm sure she'll get there.

I am spreading hate based on nepotism?? wah wah👏😆

I am just amused at how conveniently people bash nepotism and then find a way to save their favorite nepo kids...🤣....just show them mirror now and then and will continue doing so....u have the right to get irritated and annoyed..👍🏼...just like I get irritated and annoyed when I see people pick and choose and give excuses against nepotism....either one is against nepotism or not....but when one attaches conditions to justify nepotism in certain cases its being hypocritical.

BTW...I have watched NB long time back and had loved it. Beautiful movie.

I was never against any nepo kids even before the nepotism debate started...
