Yes! Watched this movie a long time ago and was amazed at how much I liked it. The simplicity, the calmness, the subtlety of the movie was amazing!! And personally, I thought both the leads did a commendable job for their first movie!👏...all the kids were super talented as well!

Although the leads meet each other at the end only, you still feel their love and root for them, and I think the movie succeeded in portraying that beautifully!!

I am just amused at how conveniently people bash nepotism and then find a way to save their favorite nepo kids...🤣....just show them mirror now and then and will continue doing so....u have the right to get irritated and annoyed..👍🏼...just like I get irritated and annoyed when I see people pick and choose and give excuses against nepotism....either one is against nepotism or not....but when one attaches conditions to justify nepotism in certain cases its being hypocritical.

BTW...I have watched NB long time back and had loved it. Beautiful movie.

I was never against any nepo kids even before the nepotism debate started...

I did not say you are spreading hate LOL. Read my post which stated "can we stop.."

I said 'we' so I meant it for people in general.

Also, I don't think many people have understood the real debate. The real debate isn't about nepotism (the product per se). Dude, pretty much everyone in Bollywood is connected to another in some way. There will hardly be few people who have absolutely no connection at all to anyone in the industry.

The issue is:

(1) talentless star kids thriving just by virtue of their surname. Those who are talented (whether they belong from a film family or from outside) deserve work. Vice versa for outsiders who are not talented, they should not be given work. Its that simple.

(2) talentless star kids utilising their backing to bully, malign and snatch opportunities away from people who are talented.

This debate excludes talented star kids who do not engage in bullying etc.

MINTYYYYYY thank you so freaking much for this post.

Because of your post, I watched the movie with my family today, and boy, I am in love.

This is easily one of the most romantic, beautiful stories to come out from BW in recent times. It was PERFECTION from start till the end.

The story has my heart. So so romantic *squeals*. CAN I PLEASE HAVE A LOVE STORY LIKE THIS?!!!!! Like it had be fangirling so hard when they finally met and smiled at each other. I wanted more, yet I was so so satisfied.

The cinematography and locations were breathtaking.

The actors were so so natural, and never at a point, did I feel like I'm watching a movie, esp the lead actress Pranutan Behl. I liked the lead actor as well. And the kids were absolutely adorable.

This film is just PURE GOLD. More people need to see this movie, support such talent.

I'm so glad you fell in love with this movie, just like I did❤️

So much organic content rooted in a beautiful love story...I also adored it.

And the bolded part...I couldn't agree more🤗

RIGHT. So I am not the only one. But he clearly has the potential. For a first movie, I think he was good (though he could have been even better at points, esp the bit when he fails to stop the boy from blasting due to the dynamite)

Agreed on Pranutan. She is pretty and can act. Her character never had a high point in the film but yet she was very endearing throughout and never came across as one note. I never felt like she was acting.

Also, not that moles are ugly or anything, but I appreciate the fact that she let them be and didn't remove them from her face. I am rooting for her as well. She doesn't have the backing, but if more people see the film and speak out about it, I'm sure she'll get there.

I find that she has a very calming face, moles and all. You can just look at her and feel light.

If you recommend it I will watch it. I ignored it because I don't trust anything or anyone Salman launches or touches

Isn't it a remake of a thai movie? I think you are getting confused with the Hollywood movie
