Give some other half decent actresses well written roles especially for them and they will do well too. Nose flaring isnt great acting. Alia is limited as we saw in kalank. Can you imagine her seducing someone like pc did in aitraaz? There you got your answer. She is limited and just get everything on platter. She has crossed the nepotism limit long back.

It does all come down to preference. But if you were to put kriti and alia next to e/o..there would probably be a majority opinion on who is the more conventionally attractive. So I cant see your view, in fact, that alia is better looking than the actresses you mentioned.

Alia was cute in soty due to makeup and what not.

But highway, I really got a front view of her face and her features. and she is not. pretty. and when she cries in some of those breakdown scenes..even worse.

I dont think there has been an actress worse looking than her recently. She doesnt have distinguishing features like a nice smile or almond eyes that make her attractive except maybe that shallow dimple she has on one side of cheek. cute at best..and even that is pushing it.

Kriti looks like a man to me. I don’t find Alia that pretty either but I find her more likeable than Kriti. I don’t consider Parineeti pretty at all - she is definitely below average in my opinion. If we are going to dissect facial features than in the same breath neither Kriti or Parineeti have exceptional features like ‘almond eyes’, ‘nice nose’ etc.

I consider Alia average looking - more of a baby face that can look cute on occasion. But looks aside, at this point she is a much better actress than Kriti. I really couldn’t even think of comparing the two in that department.

Alia starred with a big superstar like srk in dear zindagi. What would happen if he wasn’t in the film? Would it have made 100 cr. Even with his cameo Appearance the film failed to cross the mark.

Maybe with another actress the film would have been better recieved and reached that 100 cr mark. And rightfully so. It was a good film.

What about her films with popular actors like ranveer, Varun. So it’s all her doing that the films are making numbers? I guess raazi fueling on the patriotic theme or shaandaar releasing on a major holiday as a solo release didn’t either.

Would her films make money if they lacked content? Would her films actually work if she did kritis films instead?

My point is you gotta look at the package. No one was going to watch films only for alia back in 2013-2014.

The good opportunities she got to increase her brand value, has made her a preference to watch now day.

No one ever said I want to watch this film because alia is in it.

Today she has gotten the opportunity to reach that level much quicker than her contemporaries due to her initial OPPORTUNITY level
