No one here has denied she is a super star. I think she's a bigger star than Alia even today. She has more charisma and mystique and sex appeal than her and all the newbies put together: Sara, Janhvi, Ananya etc.

They simply see what is their selling value, stardom and popularity, and how much people love them. And Katrina didn't just had "a particular period of young boys wanking over her" type of fame. She had regularly featured in the some of the biggest movies as a major face, yes she doesn't have great roles, but she is always the main face alongside the hero. And that is not something you can say about the likes of Kimi or Silk or Mandakini(who tbf had potential to be a huge star which she squandered) got a long period of time. Yes no doubt the above had great peak fame, but they never sustained it for nearly 13 years like Katrina has done.

See the thing I am trying to tell is simple, you are basing your criteria as an absolute truth, and telling us that the criteria which is being used by public, trade people and media houses is wrong, which is kinda pushing it. There is a reason why Katrina has been in the top 3 most popular movie star(top 2 and top most for a rather large part), and it isn't just "men love wanking over her" type of fame. It is backed with box office success and genuine fan following.

Decade end list by BOI , ormax and other publications declared her number one followed by dp. Kareena and pc never reached masses like her. Only dp . Even she never touched masses like kat did!

Speaking about mass appeal strictly... Katrina always attracted the masses since welcome and namastey london in 2007, which peaked with sheila ki Jawani.

So Katrina leads followed by Kareena Kapoor as 2nd and Priyanka Chopra 3rd....from 2007 till 2011, followed by DP on 4th.

Dp started rising from 2012 and became number one in 2013. Kareena dropped to 4th due to the hiatus or break or marriage.

Then from 2013 till 2015..DP, Katrina and PC lead the tops respectively on first three, although PC started fading slowly. PC then left BW and Kareena came back to the picture.

Being successful - everyone is in their respective fan mindsets and based on the long career span they all had.

As for me- PC and Bebo leads equally, followed by DP and Katrina equally.

Not to forget the span of career as a lead role rather than awards, fan base, mass appeal or being number one, is the key factor in finding out who is more successful.

Oh hello, hilarious how people wanna deny actual list bcoz they fave failed to top it. Kat was giving more hits than pc kareena bcoz her success ratio was d best and carried movies like newyork , apkgk( rk didn't have a single hit back then), etc on her shoulders whereas pc, kareena delivered flops after flops. 🤣But carry on🤣 Kareena pc were doing flowerpot roles in khan movies as well for hits bcoz they had countless flops! Tiger series role is better than any pc kareena role in khan movies and pc failed in romcoms big time! She was always bad there!🤣 Pc's countless list of flops .
