If you truly understand India and Indian family and parents its not only about saying goodbye to being an actress after marraige

Just observe how Ash behaves in public after marraige to how she really was before wedding or getting engaged to Abhishekh

Indian parents want a girl for their son who will be obedient to in laws and boys extended family

The girl should not interfere in decisions made by family aka parents and elders

Since to a large extent parents depend on sons financially in old age they are scared once sons wife comes she will go seperate and not allow son to give his hard earned money to parents and extended family (in Kapoor case that may or may not be case) etc

If you see Neetu and all kapoor bahus they left acting after marriage, they will expect same for Ranbirs wife too

In India its thought that a working woman behaves independent and will not listen to husband or her in laws words. So they stop women from working after marraige so girl becomes dependent on husband to survive. So even if the family troubles or husband has affair wife has no choice but to stay with hubby and family as shes economically independent

Further if you observe South Indian actress are more independent by nature than a Mumbai or North Indian based actress. Thats because many south indian states are matriachial not patriachial society. Even Deepika comes from Mangalore, mangalore and Kerala are more matriachial by nature than patriachial that means women are head of family not men. If women take decision men follow it in house like if mother/mother in law or grandmother take decison husbands follow it. That shows why Deepika is so independent because thats how the girls are brought up in South India especially many matriachial society's. Many South India/East India society treat women as equal to men and women run family and are head of family that is matriachial society.

But Kapoors come from North of India(are they punjabi i think) there men are superior to women and patriarchal society. So its a clash of society values between girl and boys family for deepika. Its same for Katrina her mom is British so they also are highly independent and treat women equal to men. That is where parents and family insecurity starts. Because culture is different. They are scared whether Deepika/Katrina will bend and follow their family rules and be docile and follow husband Ranbir like past gens.

Deepika/Katrina will not be docile Neetu/Babita etc to stop working or obey husband/in laws orders after marriage. They come from a society that treats men/women equal and a matriachial society. Ranbir Kapoor comes from highly patricahial mindset society.

Alia i cannot comment i am not sure about her. From what i observe of her she tries to act independent and mature but shes childish. Shes never lived life on own always handheld and molly coddled by her parents and Karan Johar. She wants to work with Rajmouli, Karan Johar calls Rajmouli and says give her RRR heroine role etc. Shes a baby handheld by Karan Johar. She has no experience of life tough life like Deepika/Katrina had coming alone to Mumbai and searching for roles etc. She lives with sister/parents before. She does not have much world knowledge look at her answering simple GK questions shes not well read or mature or brave to lead life on own(unlike deepika/katrina). Thats my assessment of her, shes a kid.

Deepika and Guru Dutt are not related

They come from same caste(brahmin) and ancestor place (Mangalore in Karnataka)

Amrita Rao, Genelia Dsouza, Ashiwarya Rai, Sunil Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Rohit Shetty all come from mangalore only. But they are not related to each other. Many share same caste and same ancestral village/place too may be. But they are not related at all.

Anushka sharma and Deepika studied in same college in bangalore they are also not related but from same city thats all

Even SRK grandfather worked in mangalore and SRK born there but hes not relative of the above

Its like saying Ashok Kumar and Satyajit Ray are family no they are only from Bengal thats all
