She was not too crazy about fame. She did the projects that she thought that should work and. Where she can give her 100%. That is why she succeeded in Bollywood and that is why even today producers wants to work with her because she is very easy going person. Yes she didn’t liked aamir joke at that point. I love love her personality.

Irrespective of whether juhi is no. 1 her comedy is better than even sridevi or madubala in heroines

OK in comedy sridevi and madubala are like benchmark in hinidi cinema

But juhi's expressions are just better than them

Shes hindi cinemas no 1 heroine in comedy atleast

Only govinda can equal her in comic timing

Govindas expressions sometimes go crass

But juhi never she is a class act in comedy

I think she married early compared to other 90s actress except kajol - so she lost out many opportunities because of that (you know in 90s married actress had no scope except a kajol)

I mean her first film "qayamat se qayamat tak" was in 1988 and she married in 1995-96 hardly 6-7 years on top before marrying.

Lol Julie was playing a child artist. As a leading lady in Bollywood it was himmatwala

Juhi is great in comedy but Sridevi is the expression queen you can’t compare Juhi with Sridevi. Juhi is second best in comedy to Sridevi. Sridevi looks more cuter with her expression. Like a lucille ball type.

Even you're wrong, Solva Sawan (1979) was Sri's first Bollywood movie as a lead opposite Amol Palekar which flopped, as Sri looked very ugly during that time & Bollywood viewers rejected her.

Then in 1983 South star Krishna gave her another break in his production's movie Himmatwala opposite Jeetendra after she groomed herself & did plastic surgery, this time the movie was a blockbuster & Sridevi became a star overnight.

Sridevi looked ugly lol?? It was her debut movie she like 15 years old During the making of the movie, also she was newbie directed by a south director Who was also making his debut in Bollywood it was always going to be difficult It’s not like current actresses nowadays make their big debut with khans or kumar. I still don’t count solwa sawaan as her debut film because it more like dubbed release version of the same film made in Tamil and Telugu, as well as underage factor.

I know she excelled in cuteness and chirpiness... But what are the movies, in which movies did Juhi excel in comedy?

Most top and not not so top heroines of the 90s did a movie or two in South, not just Juhi...

It was a trend back then

Manisha, Rani, Aishwarya (her first one was South Indian), Tabu, Sonali Bendre and others... Even Kajol did a movie

Madhuri did one unfinished movie
