Was watching Netflix and started watching main hoon Na

So sad that none of the actors are relevant today except Ofc srk

I mean the movie is cheesy on so many levels but all the cast members had so much chemistry

Sush barely had 10-15 dialogues lol

Yes those times we had really good movies and songs, i guess people with real talent was hired. People werent that serious too during that time. Movies was just that, movies and not moral lesson.

Now a days audience more interested in BO report, First day collections, and how many project their fav had in kitty. No one is concerned about movie, performance, not even story,,,,,,look at THAPPAD such a great movie but no audience

Main hoon naa and Om shanti om are best commercial entertainment Bollywood produced in recent times and that too directed by a woman.

Farah is more talented than likes of Ahmed Khan, AAZ, Rohit, sid anand . They are not even dust of her shoe.

Dont give them wrong ideas they will remake it with Alia, Shanaya, Jhanvi or Saara.

and will ruin it.

I also ended up watching Main Hoon na. It’s fun whenever I go back and watch early 2000s movies. They were cheesy but something about that had a connection.

Zeyed, Amrita, Sushmita’s careers never really shined. MHN was only highlight in their careers. Zayed was so wooden and bad yet it worked with the character he played.

Farah was hilarious as debut director. Some of the characters, forever forgetting principal, Hindi teacher, spitting while talking professor.. Super OTT but they made some scenes so much fun.

MHN was super meh. OSO ke alawa theek thi. Uske baad ki toh dono kisi ko 3rd degree torture karne ke kaam aayengi. She’s the queen of these wannabe choreographer-directors.

I miss early 2000s movies with srk, he also looks so good and fresh , I wish he didn’t ruin his face with smoking

these industry grown directors, adi, kjo, sooraj, Farah peak with their first or second movie.
