Govinda and David Dhawan's fight is known fr a while. David was very insulting towards Govinda which is terrible since David's identity in the industry is due to Govinda.

I m surprised there wasn't anyone else from the original movie. Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Poornima, Sameer, Anand-Milind, Shakti Kapoor...either they weren't invited or they didn't go?

Also if I remember correctly, Govinda had a significant contribution in Chashme Baddoor's scripting. It was Govinda's idea to remake the film. Rishi Kapoor's character was also supposed to be played by Govinda. But David never got back to him, used all his ideas and cast Rishi Kapoor.
