Ranbir is an ok good actor in my opinion but not extraordinary by any means...I see actors like Shahid Sushant Rajkumar Rao more talented than him but he is at the same level as Ranveer and Ayushmann Khurana
Most of Ranbir movies are listed under the romance genre wither it is romantic comedy, drama or thriller....so rather than man child roles, I would say that most of the characters he plays focus on the protagonist finding his way and inner struggle and emotions
Ranbir's problem, in my opinion, is his chose of movies and roles and for someone with his statues and background and the family he comes from one might ask the question......doesn't he get great offers for roles that will showcase his versatile acting ability???, for example, a movie like Andhadhun could have done a lot for his career.
Honestly what makes me dislike him the most is his off-screen personality and all the drama that focuses on his relationships, rumors, and girlfriends .......if he focused on his career than all of the above the public opinion about him could have been more positive but it's too late I guess
Ranbir reminds a lot of Ryan Gosling....he's also an actor that is hailed a lot in Hollywood but to so many his acting is not extraordinary or as good as more talented actors like Joaquin Phoenix, Daniel Day-Lewis, Christian Bale, Edward Norton, Javier Bardem and os on
