I can't believe I discounted him so casually in Lootera. His performance in Mirzapur awas impressive. Very subdued but natural performance of a young man sucked into the underworld with his thuggish brother. The latter gets off on the violence but Vikrant's character is more troubling because of his lack of morality/conscience till the very end. He just sees everything as an intellectual exercise.Won't be watching the next season because **SPOILERS his character will not be there.

Sorry but what's the good reason? If Vikrant has a huge hit and Kjo and award shows come calling for him to get on KWK/host an award show do you really think he's going to say no??? Or turn down film offers by Bwood camps? Of course not, why would he?

It's easy for us to sit at home and form unfavourable opinions from our vantage point about these Bollywood camps/gangs or whatever but imagine being an actor in the industry, and the most influential director/producer comes to you with a decent script and invites you to events. Which one of us is going to say no? Let's be real.

Where did I mention KJo 😆 I clearly say it's because he started to be a performative deshbhakt so he lost out on a very vocal section who used to promote him as the next best thing. I have no problems with him being in KJo's gang at all. I understand how Bolly works and KJo is the most influential starmaker.

Absolutely yes. He’s a very very talented actor + is cute & has very good screen presence. He deserves this & much more. If he can just play his cards right he has a long way to go in BW.

He is getting enough recognition for his good work in form of movies. Other than that he is no eye candy or glamorous enough to have fanclubs or part of BW cliques/

That’s true but he can always create his own niche’ like Ayushmann is doing now and Amol Palekar did during the peaks of Bachchan times!

Duh.

If any star kid had done Gunj, he'd be called the greatest actor since Meryl streep or de niro.

Proud of my Aamir Hassan of dhoom machao dhoom
