Does Vikrant Massey deserve much more recognition?

I remember watching Vikrant in Balika Vadhu and Baba aisa var dhundo serials long back.. but he never came across as dashing or lead hero material. Also watched him in Lootera and Dil Dhadakne Do.. again.. found him good, but also better suited for side characters.. What changed for me is the web series... I recently watched Criminal Justice, Broken but Beautiful both seasons and Made in Heaven. He is such a good actor.. and versatile as well.. Also he is not afraid to venture into uncharted territories. For eg: In Made in Heaven, he just has a brief appearance.. but he nailed his part or what.. *spoilers* I never felt so deeply for a gay romance.. he portrayed it with such sensitivity. It was too good. Also Broken but Beautiful.. especially season 2.. he played a romantic, heartbroken hero really well.. it makes me believe he can be lead hero material.. he looks a little boyish.. but waise bhi all heriones aaj kal look like teenagers..

Cant wait to watch A death in Gunj.. heard really good things about his performance...

Chapaak can push him into limelight.. Like Raazi did for Vicky.. Role secondary to female lead.. but if played correctly.. it can be game changing..

Still I feel he deserves much better roles.. These are actors who can actually act.. Cant believe he played second fiddle to that lazy Arjun in third class movie Half Girlfriend.

Death in Gunj is incredible and Massey's performance will blow your mind. He's so gentle,vulnerable and restrained. It will stay with you for a long time. 💛 Please watch it asap.

And yes,the guy deserves all the recognition in the world and Chhapaak will get him that. I love Massey.

Imagine Zoya increased his footage in ZNMD after watching him...

just love him. I also admire that he takes on acting jobs no matter what the medium....have watched him on AltB, Amazon and Hotstar

Lootera was the first movie I watched of his and instantly loved his acting. Then Gunj left me speechless. He stole the show in that overrated amazon wedding shobita show.

I know right... I couldnt care less about Tara's love life.. I was invested all the way in Karan's love story.. and when Massey finally made an appearance.. he took it to another level..

Ditto.. I love that he is not bothered about what medium he acts in.. Like some TV stars start looking down upon TV when they finally get a chance in BW..

I think he knows his strengths and weaknesses.. BW wont give him meatier or lead roles just like that.. Its better if he keeps his hold in web space as well..
