YES YES YES YES YES YES

His performance in Gunj is one of the best of the decade, as chosen by FC, and my personal favourite of the last few years. Yet he did not get ONE SINGLE AWARD for it, and only ONE nomination. He has consistently worked hard and got his characters right. And, most importantly, he is grounded, humble, and all his co stars say, he is a better human being than he is an actor.

Also he is fricking adorable

Have you seen "A death in the gunj"?

He also just won the Critics Choice award for best actor for Broken. This is chosen by the film critics guild: anupama, rajeev etc.

I like how you described half girlfriend. Definitely a third class movie.

I agree with you. Don't worry Vikrant will get the recognition he deserves after chhapak. Also if he himself is determined to make it big no one can stop him.

You have him completely wrong. He has opposed BJP from the very beginning. Look at his past tweets. Look at his current tweets. Look at his favourites. He is close to Ravish Kumar and worships him.

The Kashmir tweet was unfortunate but to his credit he listened to the criticism and learnt from it. He followed Shehla Rashid and Rana Ayyub. And he read and promoted books by Kashmiri writers. See his comment on this instagram post

about a book by a Kashmiri writer about the rage of Kashmiris. His best friend is a Kashmiri Muslim too. His own brother is Muslim.

He was also among the first from Bollywood to support the protesting students, without being pressured.

That said, I always give the example of Rob Lowe a fantastic Tv/movie Hollywood actor, I really like him, he is politically conservative -not a TRump supporter but conservative - but he is a really good actor and has starred in some of the most liberal and progressive shows on TV.

I don’t know if we are mature enough in India to be right wing but not a modi supporter...utna nuance hum mei nahi hai.

Guys, he is not a BJP supporter. He is one of the only people in Bollywood that has consistently called Modi out. Check his tweets. He got dragged over the coals for telling people to vote for an educated leader before the elections. He was critical of the Phulwama attacks. He was very vocal about the Kathua rape case. The Kashmir tweet was an anomaly which is why people were shocked. But he had a bias there, his best friend is a Kashmiri Muslim and he was hopeful that this would bring peace. To his credit he learnt from the criticism and genuinely tried to educate himself. Now he is one of the most vocal in supporting the students, and was the first to speak up for them.

Not to forget, he worships Ravish Kumar and has constantly praised him. He even knows him personally.

Thank you! I can't believe people are calling Vikrant a closet Sanghi, he is one of the most vocal and well-known liberals in BW!! Sanghis hate him! He has trolled Arnab and fought with Vivek Agnihotri. He literally tweeted that Ravish Kumar winning was the best day of his life.

Sorry for the multiple posts, but this just really bothered me!! I am shocked!

yes I have been looking at his tweets and you are absolutely right, which was my initial feeeling about him too...he may want certain things that the ruling party promises but that may not make him a Modi supporter..

I would not have stopped watching him anyways, because he is a brilliant actor, but now I do love him even more if not for anything but the fact he shares my political views.

I love how you went ballistic with multiple posts..it shows you are passionate but with evidence which is never the case with most rabid fans of a political party or a BW actor 😁

hahaha, I did go ballistic because this touched a nerve! I wouldn't attack anyone for criticizing his acting or his looks or whatever, but this kinda crossed a line. :P Thank you for not being too judgemental ❤️
