But then raazi released on 11 may 2018 and uri released on 11 jan 2019 so yes alia was the prime factor for raazi. Meghna gulzar gained credibility as director with this movie

Plus raazi was mostly sold in alia s name

I am surw the way vicky is moving forward we will definitely be able to give him credit for his upcoming release like udham singh and takth

What point alia was the main reason for raazi s opening

RAAZI WAS SOLD HAS ALIA BHATT MOVIE she was the protagonist she got the maximum screen space in trailer and in the film so yes alia is hasore star power than the likes of deepika,priyanka,sonam,anushka and kriti roh does not stands a chance against her

What all you said may be true....im not saying it is....but even if we suppose its veracity... its irrelevant to my question..I had asked if she had a hit with a flop actor. Vicky isn't a flop actor.....never was either at the time of release. That's all. 😛Touche!

I personally believe that both movies collected money because of the patriotic element.

My point is that someone like Kapoor not only does not add any value to a movie , his presence in a movie actively discourages moviegoers.

Alia as a star can only give the opening it requires but if the film is bad nobody can save it
