Just finished watching it, as much as I love Sid and Tara this movie was really bad. There was absolutely zero plot development, character development, or anything of that sort. It was just a bunch of scenes clipped together

That being said there is a good film somewhere in there, maybe if it was properly fleshed out particularly the romance it would have been a great film

That being said great performances, Sid actually looked pretty good for a change and did well imo, Tara was fine as well. Ritesh did a good job as well as well as the supporting cast

Dialogues were annoying however

Single Screens seem to love it though so good for Sid!!! hopefully he will do better films from here as I do see improvement in his acting, I would love to see Tara and Sid again in a rom-com or something their chemistry was superb even with such a shitty script

Marjaavaan Second Day Business

Marjaawaan maintained decent collections on its second day although there was no growth but this is because of the business profile of this film. If the film was a urban multiplex film then it would be lights out if Saturday behaved like this but as most of the business is coming from smaller centres its done pretty well not to drop on Saturday..

The film collected 7 crore nett apprx on day two which is the same as day one. There will be growth in Mumbai circuit as the final number should be 15-20 lakhs nett higher than Friday. The drops for the film are mainly in UP and Bihar as they had good collections on day one. The mass markets of Rajasthan, CP Berar and CI were flat on Saturday and these circuits having a similar Saturday trend as East Punjab or West Bengal is a plus. The holds in mass markets on Monday will determine the fate of this film. The collections of Marjaawaan till date are as follows.

Friday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 14,00,00,000 apprx

Motichoor Chaknachoor showed growth on Saturday but collections are very low as the film has not even hit the 1 crore nett mark in two days. The collections of Motichoor Chaknachoor are as follows.

Friday - 30,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 80,00,000 apprx

Marjaavaan Does Good Business On Sunday

Sunday 17 November 2019 23.30 IST Box Office India Trade Network

Marjaavaan scored at the box office on Sunday with collections looking to be 9.5-10 crore nett which is a 35% apprx jump from Saturday. The film could go to into double digits when the final numbers come in tomorrow. Even if it does not it will not be short by much.

The jump on Sunday is one of the best jumps this year for a Sunday as hardly any film has gone up this much on a Sunday as most films are multiplex films which have the Saturday growth and remain pretty flat on the Sunday. Total Dhamaal was another film which had a huge jump on Sunday of around 40%.

A circuit like CP Berar will be growing around 50% as it was 42 lakh on Saturday and collections look to be heading for 65 lakhs nett on Sunday. It will be a similar story in other mass circuits. The weekend will be a healthy 23.50 crore nett and then its about the hold on Monday and this Sunday number gives the film a chance to hold on Monday

Marjaavaan Has A Decent Weekend

Marjaawaan had a decent weekend with figures of 23.75 crore nett and the film scored well on Sunday to be around the 10 crore nett mark. The jump on Sunday was very good as markets showed growth of 50% be it Gujarat / Saurashtra or CPCI Rajasthan. The metros of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore etc have not too well but that is sort of expected with a film like this.

The film does have the best ratio of business from single screens this year with around 70% from multiplexes and 30% from single screens. The only film which has a ratio close to this film at single screens is Saaho. The test will be if these mass belts can hold on Monday and if the film can show a drop of under 50% it should be able to do reasonably well at box office. The film has the best weekend results for a Siddharth Malhotra since Kapoor & sond which did around 25 crore nett. The collections of Marjaawaan till date are as follows.

Friday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 23,75,00,000 apprx

Motichoor Chaknachoor had a poor weekend with collections under 1.50 crore nett. The collections of Motichoor Chaknachoor are as follows.

Friday - 30,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 60,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,40,00,000 apprx

A SUCCESS for Sid after a long damn time lol. Now build on that momentum. I love it when these pseudo online critics get shown up. 💪

Marjaawaan First Monday Business

Tuesday 19 November 2019 12.00 IST Box Office India Trade Network

Marjaawaan is a successful film as it held up well on Monday to collect 4 crore nett. The drop from Friday was just a little above 40% as it generally held up well all over. The business in four days is 27.75 crore and it should do a first week of 37-38 crore nett.

The film dropped in Delhi NCR and Punjab but the rest of India held well even the multiplexes of Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata. Although they were at low levels on Friday the drops are around 40% unlike Delhi NCR and East Punjab which is also multiplex heavy but saw a drop of 50% plus and here also Friday was low. If the film can hold well on the second Friday it can even become a HIT but there will be competition especially in mass belts from Pagalpanti. The collections of Marjaawaan till date are as follows.

Friday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 4,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 27,75,00,000 apprx
