I agree with you so much on giving that kind of power thing .For me at the beginning when crush happens it's like the best thing ever since seeing that person makes me feel so giddy but then I start knowing anxious knowing how much capable that person is of making me heartbroken 😔. Depends on the kind of girl you are crushing on. If she is exceptionally shy she would look into your direction frequently(lots of eye-contact). If a girl is more confident she will initiate conversation, get your phone number, text you and might even touch your hand etc.

I used to try very hard to hide my crushes during school but there would be friends who would always figure out and then ultimately the dude I was crushing on would know 🙈. It was so rough. After coming to US I gained enough confidence to tell my one or two close friends and even got confidence to try initiate hangouts with the crushes I had 😆.

Ditto exact same! ... I was too shy back in India .. but I have grown a lot after coming to US! ... It isn't as difficult to communicate your liking! ... Still it's a challenge to keep it a secret .. my face says it ALL! ..

If friends figure it out it's fine ... but you get all jittery, red, sweaty and you can't even make eye to eye contact when your crush is around you .. it gets uncomfortable AF .. can't run nor can I confront! .. 🤣
