Yes, they are. Sallu got all the breaks, from modeling to acting, because he was Salim's son. His father said when Sallu was not getting any movies despite MPK was a huge hit (Those days romantic heroes don't used to get work coz all movies were action based) Salim went to a Sippy and requested to announce a movie with his son Sallu. Sippy did it, and the announcement made other producers flock toward Sallu's door.

Aamir's first movie was a home production, he kept getting solo hero projects despite giving back to back flops post Qayamat se..

Yes..And even many before them. Raj kapoor, Nutan, Nargis and many more were Nepo kids.

YRF used to act like a rakhwala of all the yesteryear's nepokids. They gave Rishi Kapoor 2-3 big movies when he was going through dull phase. The launched many nepokids, too.

Well..film industry is a difficult and unpredictable profession. And yes Aamir and Salman had a film background but they got work afterwards due to their talent and hardwork! After qsqat was a hit, he signed a series of films which one by one flopped and AK knew the ones currently in production are going to flop. Then Mahesh bhatt who was one of the top directors at that time offered him a script. Just an announcement of a film with him would have opened new doors for Aamir as his career was nearly over..he took a brave risk by telling Bhatt he did not like the story and would not do the film. Instead of getting pissed that a flop guy like Aamir refused him, he offered him dil hai k manta nahi. After that,he did films which he believed in, took risks like producing Lagaan and built Brand Aamir. You just cannot call him a nepo kid and take that away from him!🙄 Kismat bhi koi cheez hoti hai

Aamir would have survived by just doing offbeat movies but Salman was certainly lucky . His bad phases were so low that its a miracle that he has come so far without actual acting talent

I think a lot of careers go through ups and downs..Just that for a lot of these guys when they were down (Aamir had many flops after QSQT, Aamir again had a lean phase when he was doing stuff like Mela, mangal pandey, Salman had 10 flops in a row after MPK before sanam bewafa)- I guess the point was that a lot of times they were able to bounce back because of the connections they had.
