DP is mostly just giving us her IPS (investment policy statement). She talks about what she invests in and why. That's it.
Like most of you said, she has proper investment professionals telling her what to invest in and what to ignore and she agrees with them. But any investment professional has to follow a specific IPS. This is all the information they need about their client: morals (is the client against a specific industry for a reason as an example), monetary status (is the client living hand-to-mouth or financially sound), finance understanding (what does the client understand about risk and rewards), etc.
Financial Times is supposed to be better than this though. Their introduction makes it sound like DP is a brilliant investor along with being an actress. She isn't. She's just a client who has an understanding of investments, which is actually quite rare in retail investors. I've had the good luck of working with institutional investors only, but my friend works with retail investors and she has some amazing stories to share.
