Any finance grads out here want to dissect this interview and let me know what she was trying to say here about investments? 😂

All I heard was filler sentences like “umm”....”I think” ....”sense of purpose” “ follow you gut” “business mind” and “emotion”

I’m a techie but this just sounded like a whole lot of bogus to me 😂

And where would you say you've gotten your business brain from?

It's actually very strange because nobody in my family has ever been, like, pure business minded, in a way. My mother worked as a travel agent. My father's an athlete. My sister's a golfer, now heads my mental health foundation. I'm an actor. So none of us have really studied business.

But now that you ask me that question, I remember a producer that I worked with many years ago at the start of my career told me that one day I would be a producer. And this is even before I could think of anything else beyond acting. He said I had a business mind.

He must be taunting her for being a stingy woman and ye aurat took it as a complement.

I could take a good nap between her ummm and aaaaa gaps.

I am not an investor yet but i think her answers were boderline lame. Most of the times, her answers and the questions being asked don't match.

Who invests for the excitement factor? The main purpose is always to expand your reach and obv mint some money.

and she took that taunt/insult seriously and became a business woman now. matlab she knows how to deal with taunts and turn insults into compliments👏

She hasn’t completed even her basic college education. I don’t expect her to give well thought of and articulate answers about complex finance topics.

exactly. she cant put her thoughts into words. but she defo knows how to put her thoughts into action and make money out of it. thats enough for her. words se kya achar dalegi😆

I understand she’s not a finance person..neither am I and most of the people who invest in todays day and age...I’m sure she has guidance from experts to make the right investments....and she’s doing well as a result...good for her...

Point is there isn’t any shame in the above scenario....

But it is cringe to be phoning in vapid answers to questions....kinda like that person during an interview/viva who has no clue about the subject and is trying to pass by saying buzzwords and filler sentences....

Actually, as a finance professional, I can tell you many people especially those who are not struggling like to invest for the excitement factor. The risk creates a boost of adrenaline.
