Super 30 is all set to bring the inspirational story of math wizard Anand Kumar alive on celluloid. Nandish Sandhu, who plays the Patna-based mathematician's younger brother Pranav Kumar, said at the Mind Rocks Indore 2019 that the film was high on entertainment.
"Aap aaj ka gaana dekhiye - Basanti No Dance. Zaroori nahi hai ki entertainment sirf pedon ke ird-gird naachne-gaane se ho. We have this notion ki agar bohot achcha dance hoga movie mein, agar kuch thumke lagenge toh entertainment hoga. Aap aaj ka gaana dekhiye. Jo bachchon ne perform kiya hai, agar usse behtar kuch entertainment mil jaaye, toh main apna naam badal dunga," Nandish said.
Anand, who was also speaking at the event, said that the film will inspire lesser-privileged children to dream big. "Yeh film ek Anand Kumar ki kahaani nahi hai, balki un tamaam shikshakon ki kahaani hai jo bachchon ki behtar zindagi ke liye apni poori taqat lagate hai. Yeh film dekhne ke baad har nirdhar parivaar ke bachche mein ummeed jaagegi ki mehnat se kuch bhi sambhav hai. Infrastructure aur AC school se kuch nahi hone wala hai," he said.
Super 30, which features Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, will also inspire the privileged children. "Jo bade ghar ke bachche hai, unko bhi yeh shiksha milegi ki agar in bachchon mein josh bhar jaata hai aur itihaas rachte hai, toh main toh aur bhi bada itihaas bana sakta hoon," Anand said.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is scheduled to release on July 12.
