Article 15 is a successful film as it grossed around 3.75 crore nett on its first Monday. it is a solid hold from Friday with a drop of 20% apprx. This takes the total of the film to 23.50 crore nett in four days and it should be around 33-34 crore nett for the week.
The second Friday number will tell if the film can become a major success. The film could have done even better if it did not have the amazing run of Kabir Singh up against it and though numbers are pretty good for Article 15 it is being overshadowed by that film which doing 4-5 times the business of Article 15 in most core Hindi centres and that also in week two.
Kabir Singh is simply not stopping as the second Monday collections could go over 9 crore nett which will take the 11 day total to around 188 crore nett. Its just a staggering run for the film as it heads for 75-80 crore nett second week.
The film will cross thee numbers of Bharat and the 200 crore nett mark on Wednesday but more importantly it will become the most watched Hindi film in the theatres on Tuesday as it will cross the footfalls of Uri - The Surgical Strike. This will be in just 12 days and the footfalls of Avengers Endgame will also be crossed in the next 7-8 days.
