John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Dostana released 11 years back and was highly loved by the audience. Now, Dharma Productions is back with the sequel of this romantic comedy film.

Earlier this morning, Dharma released a video on their social media and teased the fans promising an announcement to be made tomorrow. Though the production house hasn’t revealed what movie they are talking about, it seems KJo is hinting at the sequel of his 2008 hit film Dostana. He captioned the video, “Got a ring to it, doesn’t it? You know what it is!”

There were speculations that John Abraham, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor will be starring in the film’s sequel but nothing had been finalised as off yet. However, according to a report in Filmfare, an insider close to the entertainment magazine reveals that the film will be helmed by a new director and will star Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead along with one another actor.

With the news of Kartik and Janhvi pairing up for this project, we cannot wait to see their on screen chemistry!

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the first part was an instant hit. With John and Abhishek’s fun camaraderie and of course with Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra’s killer moves, the film still remains a favourite! And now the fans are excited to see what the sequel has in store for the audience.
