Plot

The film Bharat is based on a Korean movie called Ode To My Father released in 2014, while it has made some changes in the story according to the location and other requirements. We see the Salman Khan’s character Bharat giving the commitment of taking care of his family after his father and thus the film carries the six avatars of Salman Khan starting from the fifties to 2010. So, how does Bharat takes care of this commitment is an interesting thing to explore in the film in the nearby cinema.

Review

It is not often an easy task to draw the audience back to half a decade creating an environment that existed 50-60 years before. The makers were able to create the right kind of environment showcasing Salman Khan in an old avatar right from the early twenties to an old man. However, there seemed some glitches in it yet they managed to portray things the best. For the Salman Khan fans its a treat to see their favorite actor on the silver screen on a huge canvas as the film has been shot really well. It has all the elements which his fans wish for – action, romance, thrill, comedy and all the stuff that can make the film to create a good buzz in the media. However, the most interesting aspects of the film are its plot that remains interesting and intriguing giving the audience a good chance to catch the film on the silver screen. We see Salman Khan doing all the stuff from the age of nine to 72. His journey shows it all for the audience.

Now, talking about the performances of the lead actors, Salman Khan’s character had everything, which includes humor, anger, and swag. Salman Khan somewhere has done justice to his character playing different avatars but he seemed awesome in his older versions. Katrina playing the love interest of Salman Khan’s character Bharat called Kumud also did a decent job. Similar was the story of other actors, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover. Disha has played the love interest of Salman Khan of his younger age, however, the age difference between the two was clearly visible, which somewhere hampered the romance elements. On the other side, Sunil Grover in the role of Salman Khan’s friend was decent as always with his humor and perfect comic timing.

The others like Jackie Shroff and Tabu remained for a shorter space but have remained impressive on the silver screen. Talking about the other elements like music it has remained its USP with cool songs and other elements to showcase on the silver screen. The other elements like the screenplay, editing, photography, and others seemed good that somewhere helped the film to boost up its entertainment value.

Bharat – The Last Word
The film Bharat remains a decent watch not just for the fans of Salman Khan but also others. It has all the elements one can wish for drama, action, thrill, romance, and humor that makes any typical film of Salman Khan to survive at the box office. So, enjoy the film in an extended weekend on the festive juncture of Eid.

This certainly seems to be the trend lately, from Padmavati to ToH. But I'm really hpoing to see a good big film. BW is overdue!
