What was wrong with the old one?

Absolutely nothing

Well, maybe I quibbled about not getting notification when somebody quoted our posts

Other than that, Nothing

Another fault - It was very addictive

Keyboard was messy. It was very bad in the mobile view.

Issues with old version IMO:

1. Pain of quoting instead of being able to reply easily to a post like in other SM sites.. or being able to add @username to address that person in a thread

2. Extreme pain of posting pics or videos or links

3. Very less / outdated emoticons

These are the only issues i had which i wished were available in an upgrade but got none of these . Instead we get a washed out layout with unnecessary colours. Honestly the layout sucks!

Notification tab is a good feature and I like it. I want the above issues sorted if they are really going to keep this upgraded version or give back the old version.. i will make do with it like i have done for past 6 years

I felt that the quoting post thing also made this site unique

Sometimes it became a pain with too much quoting but they rectified it towards the end with only one quoting allowed

Posting pics, videos, gifs became very difficult, almost impossible towards the end but it was not that difficult befoe

No I don’t like it... Miss the old feature where you can see clearly which members have liked your (and others) posts, just below the post itself

You cannot see your posts and more importantly others posts

You cannot see which members have liked your post and more importantly which members have liked others posts

I am surprised that I miss that :-)

I realize now (next to posting pics and videos) that’s what made BWF addictive, for me at least - other people’s business LOL, ROFL

Also it’s impossible to know if somebody visited your profile, I suppose I should be glad bcz I used to (accidentally :-)) click members profile all the time

This is looking like white paint..too much white and few colors here and there. I feel like iam visiting some LKG classroom.

No signatures as default, you have to select show signature from reply box to display I guess , that's good, it was taking too much space .

The only thing I have an issue with , is that I cannot get to the latest page of a post when I click on a thread, I have to navigate to it from the first page, that's an additional step I do not want to take.

I have to get used to it but I love the formatting, that's good.

going to try the "show signature", lets see if it works ( it doesn't)

Also need clarity on how to embed videos and GIF's
