Is Alia's competitiveness/greed for the best projects unhealthy? - Page 6

I agree that she is getting alot of privilege but no director and producers are getting held at gunpoint to cast Alia, they can say NO but they didn't they still went ahead and cast her.

The only role she did well and I can't picture anyone else in that movie but her is "Raazi" that movie is made for her, her other roles isn't anything special she was good in Dear Zindagi and Udta Punjab too.

Competitiveness is healthy in my opinion. But if I m a science student and I want to beat the girl who is a topper in arts, is foolishness 😆. Know your genre and strength Aloo, leave the rest for others to explore who excel in those areas. 😆 Running behind Kalank, SLB, Rajamouli type roles are gonna backfire BIG time. She's best for Dulhaniya, 2 States, DZ type roles and can be so good in Raazi, UP, Highway type things, why try everything and ruin it ? 😕

It is unhealthy because I feel she can't cope with the fact that someone else might get a meaty role and get accolades, potentially beating her in the rat race. It's sort of like working for a company and busting your butt day in and day out, but never receiving the opportunities you feel you deserve because someone else is more favored by the higher up people. And that colleague is obviously going to take full advantage of every opportunity they can get via that favoritism whether they deserve by merit or not.

In the end, of course it promotes an unhealthy environment and the others will suffer to showcase their true potential.

Competition is healthy. Greed is unhealthy. Alia is mixing the two. I guess its fine for her to try every role and see what she excels in. But bina jaane signing big event movies one after the other might not work in the long run. With such huge exposure to these movies if they all fail she will hit rock bottom in her career. I think she is moving too fast and taking huge risks without a clue. Its not ambition but her insecurity of others surpassing her. . But then I think its an actor who suffers more than an actress in such cases. Will have to see how things pan out for her
