Do you think Nepotism will ruin BW? - Page 2

I'm not sure. Mainstream Bollywood may or may not. But I'm wondering if independent, content driven Hindi films might flourish because all talented outsider actors, writers, and directors will head that way due to lack of opportunity at big studios?

I'm also wondering if the combination of nepotism and inner dating and marriages of actors and actresses will make it difficult to find stars to cast as a romantic pair in another generation or so? 😆

Mom and pop shop is not a new thing for the industry..it survived for over 100 yrs. agey bhi survive karega.

What about Suraj, Athiya, Arjun, Uday, Jacky Bhagnani, Sonam, Jhanvi, etc deserved the big debuts they got? They wouldn't have made through a single audition if not nepotism. I don't have problem with talented star kid's but also I don't want mediocrity served upon us.

It depends of how talented the star kids are but looking at the current situation, yes it is ruining BW. There was neptoism in the past too but over the last 10 years, almost every actors actresses that debuted on big banner movies are either star kid or star sibling like Arjun, Parineeti, Sonakshi, Shradda, Alia, ARK, Tiger, Sara, Jhanvi, Ishaan, etc. Outsiders either get B-grade movies or supporting roles. I find Urvashi, Yami and the Dangal girls way prettier and talented than Sara and Jhanvi but these 2 girls are getting one after another movies and they even got good movies offers even before their debut movie released while those girls hardly gets any good role. Alia kept getting all the good offers but there are many outsiders that are better than her. It wouldv'e been much better if Kalank had somebody like Tamannaah or Ileana. So neptoism somehow have negative impact on BW. It's not letting talented outsiders connect with the audiences.
