the song is good due to that one man who is dancing his heart out in his patani looks n the name is none other than Varun Dhawan... ❤️

varun has so much energy in him and he looks killer wearing a patani...very rare we see him in traditional but when he wears it..he looks dashing and amazing in it n of all his films he did..Kalank definitely explored his best looks...film by film he grows on me n i fall in love with him...he looks good with kiara too...for a varun's personality this song looks dull but his energy...aura...screen presence...dancing n his chemistry with kiara makes up to the song...amazing performance by varun..

coming to the sequence...why the hell he is dancing when his love is getting married to a man whom she doesn't love at all...thats weird...real weird..while marrying aditya..there was tears in alia's eyes n the scene shift to happy varun dancing...it doesn't make sense at all🤣

lastly i want to add..varun-alia is a legend couple of this gen...we can definitely add them in legendary jodi list..they have an aura n repeat value

The song will be a chart buster I like it varun really knows how to uplift songs with his energy.

Coming to the historical accuracy cmon this is Bollywood since when did they care people will go to watch it the same way they watched khiliji doing the clown dance

True. I think I really need a trailer or at least some dialogue. Everything is out of context so you just question the motivation os the characters

I hope it's just a case of tricky editing. And the scenes don't happen the way they have been shown in the trailer.

My question is even if Varun is not aware of Alia being married off, why is he being so flirty with Kiara if he is so in love with Alia's character😕...And W*F is Madhuri's character doing at the end.

The sets look like reused ones from more than a decade old Saawariya. Only the lighting is different 😆

And this is supposed to be a 1940s epic drama with characters breaking into item songs and throwing around words like "First Class" 🤪

Yeah yeah... it's Bollywood and dharma and the film is gonna be a hit so we should just throw logic out of the window and deal with it

I don't think they're releasing a trailer after all this time, there's like 25 days to go. They'll just release snippets of the soundtrack interspersed with scenes from the movie.

And yep, I agree with FilmiDhun, seems to be a case of tricky editing. Also, isn't this supposed to be Varun's entry in the movie?

From what I have seen so far of the movie, it is safe to say that the movie is strictly a commercial potboiler film set in the backdrop of partition era. Definitely not a historical or period movie. Something similar to TOH.
