True, there are a lot of elements in the trailer and songs which don't belong to the 40s. It's far from a period movie. Just a commercial film.

May be this sequence is before "they meet" ... Their story may come after her "marriage" ... may be something goes wrong and Alia's character decides to leave ARK or ARK throws her out ... she goes to become Madhuri's student ... May be Varun and ALia's story start there-after?! .. [That's the only thing which makes sense to me atm! ...😆]

🤣 First class.

On one hand they want the sets to be ancient GOT,Bahubaali types with Alia travelling in boat in between vanar sena and on the other hand this song seems to be 1990ish with tapori first class slang. In between I am waiting for Madhuri's mujra. Then I remember its set in 1945 and feel bad for all the freedom fighters fighting and dying for the independence while this langur is singing baki sab first class hai.

Varun's dancing is great. Song is ok, maybe will take a couple of tries to get used to it (?)). Better than Ghar More Pardesiya.

More than anything, the comment sections for this film are more entertaining. With every teaser/song release, the audience is getting more and more confused as to what this film is about 😆

varun has so much energy in him and he looks killer wearing a patani...very rare we see him in traditional but when he wears it..he looks dashing and amazing in it n of all his films he did..Kalank definitely explored his best looks...film by film he grows on me n i fall in love with him...he looks good with kiara too...for a varun's personality this song looks dull but his energy...aura...screen presence...dancing n his chemistry with kiara makes up to the song...amazing performance by varun..

Ok lemme try n help with all the confusion😆 This change in Varun's expression he is proud on being called no 1 aashiq 😆(lyrics wise) by his best friend from Heera mandi (Kiara) blisfully unaware that Roop is getting married (evidently a low-key wedding)

Meanwhile Sona-Alia are in tears, ARK well has unreadable expression so dunno 😆, however its Madhuri's (who plays Zafar's mother) smug expression turned "haye mera beta"😆 kinda smile has me intrigued, but yeah I am still hoping they release a trailer

I think Varun is unaware that Alia is getting married so he's dancing his heart out. 😆😆

Kiara is obviously a Muslim girl whom Madhuri approves of as Varun's wife. Hence, the happy and satisfied look when she's watching them. I think Zafar is the illegitimate child of Balraj from Bahaar Begum.

Tbh the story seems very confusing until now.😕
