Alia may be an ok actor but she lacks grace, beauty, dancing skills, aura of a superstar, star quality, screen presence. She does not wow me at all. She may have the best work out there but she cannot compete with stalwarts and shove her good films down our throat. Point is Madhuri n Sridevi were adored for their work in the films - not bcoz of their "outsider" status. That is least interest to the public. The theatre going public does not care about your background bcoz they are more logical. They know that everyone has to struggle and the next generation has a easier way. That is a way of life. They are not going to watch a Abhishek Bachchan simply bcoz he is Amitabh Bachchan's son.

Insider like Aamir has more respect than SRK today bcoz of the work he brings to the table and his craft.

It is his hardwork n sweat in front of the camera and nobody can take that away from him.

alia is a youth icon. she does bring that factor in comparison to other actresses. she looks young, kind of teenager like so she works on screen and thats her USP. people find her cute on screen and she is relatively talented. associated with kjo, hugely publicized

all kids basically love her, esp young girls.

but when they try to put her in films like kalank...just no. thats when it goes out of hand. that role should have gone to someone else. and that's unfair.

Which genre, did she specified.
Because some of the actress like Katrina, Priyanka have gone for six-ten months classes and call them trained dancers 😆.
So I am kinda suspicious of these kinds of statements😆.

it's not about being a good or bad actress. It's about the lack of struggle she has faced when getting films that she normally would have had if she was anyone else. karan spoon feeds her.

she is disgustingly privileged and spoiled with opportunities. she calls up directors to have them cast her, saying she will be upset if you dont cast me (kalank) and has karan basically doing everything for her.

her stardom is a combined thing, she is not independent. every actress who becomes a star at the end of the day does it on their own. she doesnt

not sure...but she has stated it somewhere, she used to train in dancing. im sure a hardcore kriti fan would know 😆I can't remember at this point.
