😆 Not surprising at all. A lot of members did predict this a couple of years ago when Karan associated himself with the hindi Baahubali. This was probably one of the deals. Anyway kinda surprised he didn't lobby for a full female protagonist movie for her with Rajamouli.

It will help Alia to create a fan base in south . Having said that career wise did a role in RRR movie helped Anushka Shetty , Kajal Agarwal and Tamannah ? Bahubali didn't help Tamannah much, even before Bahubali Anushka was a superstar in south and she still is a female superstar along with Nayathara .I guess Magadheera helped Kajol Agarwal to build a career in south .

I don't know how Alia fares down South but good luck to her. This is going to be her litmus test as an actress, given her role is significant, irrespective of its length.

And of course, I believe that the person of the caliber, vision, credibility, and mass, as well as Pan Indian appeal as SSR, is casting Alia just because of KJo. 😆

Just yesterday Alia was a wannabe SLB heroine and today, Oh well!!!!

Oh there was a thread about it few days back.. Unfortunately or fortunately I missed it.. Now I will go and find it.. It will be so much fun reading the comments now. 😆😆
