Kjo has worked with Ss rajmouli so it was highly likely
I am not sure if her role is a meaty one or flowerpot in Baahubali Tamanna got flowerpot role and Anushka was barely in the first film

According to Rajamouli this is how he got Alia in the film

"I was travelling somewhere and happened to meet her at the airport. It was there that I first told her about my interest to cast her in the film. She was very keen to be a part of the film as well. And then, things eventually fell into place, he shared.

Alia will be playing a character called Seeta, and has been paired opposite Ram Charan. Talking about her character, Rajamouli revealed, "She plays an extremely strong character that will do immense justice to her acting prowess. I am so excited to be working with a talent like her.

But the fact of the matter is that, regardless of how she got those roles, she still is the one who is having to face the camera and do the hard work of learning the ropes of that character and trying to fit into it? How can we take away that credit from her?😕
