Total Dhamaal Holds Well On Wednesday

Total Dhamaal did well on Wednesday as it collected 7 crore nett to take the six day total to 86.50 crore nett. The film has held on Wednesday which has been the day that many films have shown a bigger than normal drop in the recent past. an example of this was Gully Boy which was very steady on Monday and Tuesday but then had a big fall on Wednesday.

Total Dhamaal is holding up well across the country. Gujarat / Saurashtra and UP are the best areas but Delhi NCR and East Punjab which were on the lower side over the weekend have sustained well over the weekdays. the first week is looking at 92.50 crore nett first week if the collections drop another 15% like they have on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The second Friday will tell where the film is going and whether it has any chance for a 150 crore nett finish.. The collections of Total Dhamaal till date are as follows.

It was a good thing that this film released a week after Gully Boy as the media step motherly treatment can easily be seen. Last week the attempt was to get even the dogs and cats into the theatres and this week is the opposite and make sure people stay away but the audience has a mind of its own though it does have a little affect in the big metros.

It was being said in industry rounds that the big national daily Hindustan Times actually implied that an actor like Ayushmann Khurana was better than Ajay Devgn just to put the film down. This daily has a huge reach maybe more than the film itself and readers of it in the national language may even day who is Ayushmann Khurana and then others who by chance may have seen some of his work will ask can he actually act.

Here you are not just being comparing but implying he is better than someone who has almost 100 films as main lead. Forgett the box office, performances, Hits and all that, just to do 100 films as main lead is a huge achievement as not many in history have done this. All this without any facts or figures just to put a film down.

Total Dhamaal Has Strong Hold On Second Friday

Total Dhamaal held up strongly on its second Friday with a drop of just 25% as it collected 4.75 crore nett apprx. This is coming off a solid Thursday collection of 6.50 crore nett apprx. the total of the film so far is 98.75 crore nett.

The film is doing excellent business outside the metros be it multiplexes or single screens while the metros are good. The metros should see strong collections on Saturday and Sunday like last week. The screenings of the film were halved at multiplexes due to the release of two new films so it has done very well to get this far on the second Friday.

The business in Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI, Bihar, and Gujarat is not far behind the stronger new release Lukka Chuppi and it will be better for sure over the weekend in these markets. The film has a chance of 150 crore nett with this second Friday but a lot will depend on the third and fourth week collections of the film. the collections of Total Dhamaal till date are as follows.

🤣 It seems they'd even fudge numbers for movies they love/get paid to praise/whatever reason.

Also said: drop is 25%.. Erm Isn't BOI usually comparing Friday to Friday?? What 25%?

Anyway: this proves once again that BOI are as biased and untrustworthy as others. Making up numbers..on a numbers site..ANything to hype whatever they fancy..Smh..

OT:TD is doing great, nearly - or crossing 100 cr now) ... BOI doesn't need to create this crappy stuff.

Total Dhamaal And Lukka Chuppi Saturday Early Estimates

Total Dhamaal has shown growth of around 45% and collected 6.75 crore nett on Saturday. The film has collected 11.50 crore nett over two days over its second business and should do at least 20 crore nett over its second weekend.

Lukka Chuppi has done well on day two with around 9.75 crore nett and growth of 25% apprx. The film has good collections though the growth is limited but that good first day puts it into a good position as the weekend can go towards the 30 crore nett mark. The two day collections of the film are 17.50 crore nett.

Sonchiriya is flat on day two with similar collections to day one. the film has collected 1 crore nett apprx on Friday and Saturday for a 2 crore nett two day total. Just because this film was a dacait drama it was even compared with the greatest Hindi film of all time Sholay. First Gully Boy was a classic and masterpiece and now this. Where do these crazy notions come from in the media and a section of the film industry.

Total Dhamaal Second Saturday Business

Total Dhamaal collected 6.75 crore nett which is 45% up from the previous day. the growth could have been more on Saturday but it has a high ratio of business coming from outside the big multiplexes which dont grow much on the Saturday.

The total collections of the film are now over 105 crore nett and it is heading for a good third week. The third week could cross 30 crore nett and barring the last two Golmaal films and Housefull 2 no other comedy film has crossed 30 crore nett in week two.

The lifetime business of the film will depend where the film lands on the third Friday. It still has outside chance of 150 crore nett though 140 crore nett plus looks the more likely scenario. The collections of Total Dhamaal till date are as follows.

Huge Second Sunday For Total Dhamaal - Lukka Chuppi Crosses 30 Cr

Total Dhamaal had a huge second Sunday as figures went into double digits as it collected 10.5-11 crore nett. This will make the second weekend of the film around 22 crore nett. The huge growth has come as its a holiday in parts of the country tomorrow which has allowed the business to remain strong in the evening and night shows. This sort of 60-65% growth is not normal for a Sunday.

The film has crazy collections in Gujarat / Saurashtra as the Sunday collections of 2.50 crore nett have beaten the weekend collections of Luka Chuppi which will be around 2.25 crore nett apprx.

Luka Chuppi also did very well on Sunday with collections in the 13-13.50 crore nett. Again the fact that it is a part holiday on Monday which pushed collections in the evening and night shows. the film will have three day weekend of nearly 31 crore nett which is very good.

Even the disaster Sonchiriya which was flat on Saturday managed to grow on Sunday but there is not much hope for this after the holiday is over tomorrow.The collections were around 1.50 crore nett on Sunday for a weekend of 3.50 crore nett apprx
