I haven't watched Gully Boy. But in Simbaa and Padmavaat he was annoyingly OTT AF. 🤢

And in Gullyboy he was under-acting, acc. to me(another unpopular opinion)😆

Looks like he has no idea how to strike the balance in that case. 😆 Ya toh over-acting ki hadd parr karta hai ya toh acting hi nahi karta. 😆

versatility is that when you dont even recognise that its him. In this case, we all know, he is the same guy, over enthusiastic soul. Who is way too energetic to be versatile. Yawn.

Way too ott and loud for me ...that is the only way he got himself noticed in his popular characters. The ones where his character is calm and quiet he gets overshadowed by others.

Simba...really.That is like his worst performance.
Though he surely was spectacular in Gully Boy.

As if no one other actor has ever played a villain and a typical masala hero.😆 Just changing the looks in every film doesn't make him versatile. He just can't leave behind his real life OTT self while acting. Recently heard that he was rejected for Milkha Singh role in BMB because of being too energetic.😆
The guy just plays different versions of himself in every film with no nuances.
