Baaghi 2 opened at 25 crores - with an unpopular actress and average music

Gully Boy despite Ranveer + Alia + Hype and Good music ... only 18 crores

I won't even discuss Sanju 😆

Wat matters is that the movie overall does well, there have been movies that had below 10 cr opening numbers and they have gone on to make 100 and even 200 crs with strong wom

So I don't care if tiger gets higher opening numbers, Ranveers movies are being appreciated and his performance has been highly praised, and his movies have been doing well at the box office

I agree, Tiger is more of a one note actor, all he does is action coz thats his biggest strengthh, Ranveer is versatile, none of his roles or movies have been the same

Why is it so important for u to prove that someone is 'ahead'? Both tiger and Ranveer are doing well, you don't have to pull down

You even made that thread saying alia overshadowed rs wen that wasn't true at all

Baaghi 2 is a commercial film and had one of the most iconic songs of bollywood ever in 'Ek Do Teen' remake which fueled lots of controversy regarding it's dilution of the original version to very great extent. Also stars real life pair and i do agree tiger has more fans due to his dancing abilities and fights. Also the storytelling is very good along with being commercial.

GB is a niche film and Ranveer is more of an actor and he got better praises than tiger for acting in the industry which is mainly acting based.

Sanju is a huge controversy film if u don't know about Sanjay Dutt in 90s.
