Yes, thats what I was saying, he sounded so much like KK.

Actually Kumar Sanu started his career soon after Kishore Kumar's death by singing all KK's Hindi and Bengali songs at public functions in Kolkata. When we first heard his voice at a Puja function we were startled to hear the late KK's voice on the sound system.

Sanu's early 90s songs and his duets with Alka were all superhits.

Aashiqi songs were all very good

When Rahman started his career.. kumar was on top... he didn't want to work with new comers.. then later on he said he doesn't understand the type of my music Rahman makes.

It was with all due respect and Rahman understood.. they only have one song together.. for a movie called khabi na khabi.. the name of the song is mil gaye.

Udit has more peppy and upbeat songs. He can fill the environment with energy.

Sanu is melodious. Every other romantic song in 90s, is Sanu. Him and Alka made a fantastic pair. Hubby says he is one-tone. I kinda partially agree but Sanu over Udit for me.

I still have these playlists and I have to listen to one or two songs everyday. Amazing.

90's is my favourite music. Alka - Sanu - Udit have sung most of the songs in that period. It's tough to choose between these two. I have voted for Udit Narayan.

ITs tough to say both had their strong points im gon say Sanu for Raja hindustani both sung Pardesi but Sanu's version had more feel in it. Udit was really good too tho, i prefer him over Sonu Nigam

Kumar Sanu. I wasnt around when he was in his prime. But lately I've listened to his songs and truth be told, the songs are crappy but he makes them so worth it. He's among the all time greats IMO and Udit doesnt even compare.

Both were my favorites but I prefer Sanu and tad bit more due to Ashiqui which is my all time fav album..

P. S I loved SP Balasubrahmanyam as much as Udit and Sanu

For me Sonu Nigam did better than both of them..

Sonu is more learned singer technically than both Sanu and Udit but I feel he has less connect than them. Sonu is great too, just he falls short when coming to comparison with these two
